00:00 Hi, my name is Sam from Sussex World and here are the top stories from across the county
00:05 for Thursday, February 29th.
00:08 A walker has discovered a set of dinosaur footprints recently uncovered on the beach
00:11 in Bexhill.
00:12 Vicky Ballinger was out with her children this week when they made the stunning discovery.
00:16 Vicky says she believes the footprints are an iguana dong among others.
00:20 The foreshore area from Bexhill to Fairlight is well known for the track casts and prints
00:23 of dinosaurs.
00:25 The rocks Bexhill is situated on are around 140 million years old and contain the remains
00:29 of the dinosaurs that used to roam its then freshwater surroundings.
00:34 The Body Shop's administrators have confirmed a store in Sussex will close but that the
00:37 majority will remain open.
00:39 Some 2,000 jobs and 100 high street shops were put at risk after bosses at the Sussex
00:44 founded skincare company announced the business was going into administration on February
00:48 13th.
00:49 In a major update today, the Body Shop's joint administrators confirmed the 116 stores
00:53 that remain open as restructuring of the UK business progresses.
00:58 These include stores in Chichester, Worthing, Crawley and Eastbourne.
01:01 However, the Hastings shop is set to close.
01:04 As a result of the store closures, 489 staff will regrettably remain redundant over the
01:09 next four to six weeks.
01:11 And finally, a data breach expert has said that Southern Water's response to customers
01:14 following a cyber attack in January is not sufficient to compensate those whose data
01:18 has been put at risk.
01:20 The Water firm confirmed it suffered an illegal intrusion after it was named on the cyber
01:24 criminal's site on January 22nd.
01:25 It is believed that data included names, dates of birth, national insurance numbers, bank
01:30 account details and reference numbers that could have been stolen.
01:33 In a recent statement to its customers, Southern Water offered those affected enhanced experience
01:37 credit monitoring free of charge for the next 12 months.
01:40 But Eleanor Coleman, solicitor and head of the data breach department at JFL Law, has
01:44 said that it is not sufficient to compensate clients properly for this breach of information.
