00:00 From treasure hunts to impossible to solve puzzles, video games are a clear winner.
00:07 It is now a multi-billion dollar global business and Malaysia wants a piece of it.
00:13 We are now the third largest market in Southeast Asia after Indonesia and the Philippines.
00:19 Better yet, we have already made a start in producing these games and several have even won a global following.
00:26 But time has come to take it to the next level and Malaysian Digital Corporation CEO Mahadir Aziz has been given the task to lead the charge.
00:35 But rather than compete with our Southeast Asian neighbors, his plan is to work with them to compete with bigger producers in China, the US and South Korea.
00:45 And with support from the government, it is game on for local producers such as Daryl Lau and Sherman Chin.
