00:00After destroying several previous cartels including those related to chicken food, the Malaysian competition has continued to

00:15MyCC said that some initiatives are being carried out, including creating a more competitive market among industry players in an effort to maximize user welfare.
00:26Last month, KPDN Minister Armizan Mohamad Ali said that about 100 companies involved in the price cartel activity,
00:35marketing, export and fraud, which also contributes to the increase in daily costs, have been penalized.
00:42According to him, the penalty has been imposed since the establishment of MyCC since 2011 for a total of RM570 million.
00:50In December last year, MyCC imposed a penalty of RM415.5 million on 5 companies that were found to have violated Section 4 of the 2010 competition through the formation of a chicken food cartel.
