00:30So, we came here at 2 o'clock something, 2am and then we were waiting for here.

00:47We were waiting and it started raining before we could see it.

00:52We are still waiting.

00:54The rain has stopped now.

00:56But there are a lot of people that we couldn't see.

00:58At the end of the first time.

01:03I arrived here at 5am.

01:09But there were a lot of people.

01:12The crowd was very big.

01:14Alhamdulillah, I feel very happy.

01:17Because this is the first time in my life that I saw the Kembangsaan Day.

01:25Yeah, it's very exciting.

01:27And then a lot of people.

01:29It's a lot of interesting things to see and to watch.

01:34Actually, I wanted to bring my kids to know about how we celebrate Merdeka.

01:39What is Merdeka about.

01:41How the Independence Day came across and all that.

01:47Just from speaking to people as we've been walking by.

01:50People welcoming us, saying hello, waving, singing with us.

01:55It just shows you that Malaysia is such a welcoming culture.

01:59And I think that's the main thing that we've taken from it.

02:01Just the inclusivity and them being happy to talk to us.

02:05Even though we're tourists and we're not from here as it is.

02:08Everyone coming together as well.

02:10All the different cultures and backgrounds all coming together.

02:15To celebrate and enjoy this special day.

02:18Selamat Hari Merdeka.

02:23It's not our first time.

02:25It was my first time coming here last year.

02:27It was also my husband's first time coming here last year.

02:30Last year I was part of the Bomber Parade.

02:33I'm part of Abang Bomber.

02:34So this is where we met across each other last year.

02:37So why not we come back again and throw back all the memories.

02:41Yeah, I have never seen a parade like this in any other country in the whole world.

02:46So we were so happy to be here today.
