00:00 Newcastle United win three Premier League games in a row with a comfortable 2-0 win
00:06 over Burnley in the end. It wasn't their most fluent performance ever, it certainly
00:10 won't be one where Eddie Howe and the players look back in too much fondness but Newcastle
00:15 United at the end of the day got the job done. Liguel Almiron's strike after 15 minutes
00:19 was a fantastic effort, brilliant work by Kieran Trippier to win the ball back in a
00:23 dangerous position. Almiron just set himself and that's on that trusted left foot, bent
00:27 in the top corner, nestled right where the owl sleeps. It was a fantastic goal for Newcastle
00:33 United. They got to run a play a little bit but that's what you've got to do. They sort
00:38 of grew into it in that first half, didn't really test the keeper too much. Although
00:44 Elliot Anderson was denied by a brilliant save and Isak probably should have gotten
00:49 the score sheet just before half-time but they went into half-time 1-0 and it was one
00:52 where you think they played well and Newcastle probably certainly deserved maybe to go in
00:58 1-0 and then won the reaction in the second half and that didn't really come. I think
01:03 that the games are catching up on them, they've played a lot of games and they've got another
01:07 big one against Perthshire in midweek so it wasn't the best performance but Alexander
01:11 Isak's penalty right near the end settled the game and to be honest the result was never
01:17 really in doubt. Burnley did very little going forward, Nick Pope had very little to do although
01:21 he did make a really good stop at 2-0. It wasn't the most firm performance from Newcastle
01:30 but they got the job done and they head to PSG next week in the back of five clean sheets
01:33 in a row, three Premier League wins in a row, three wins in a week, 11 goals scored. It
01:39 was a tricky game but Newcastle navigated it well and as I said they'll head to PSG
01:44 on Wednesday full of confidence that they can hopefully back up that great draw against
01:47 Eton at the same time so they can back up everything they've done since the international
01:50 break really with another positive result on Wednesday.
