00:03 Councillors are set to put the brakes on anti-social drivers following a growing number of incidents across North Derbyshire.
00:10 A public spaces protection order is set to come into force at the end of this month,
00:14 in a bid to stop those who cause a danger and nuisance to other road users as well as local residents.
00:19 Motorists who breach the order are warned they could face a fixed penalty notice of £100 or even have their vehicle seized.
00:27 Councillor Nigel Barker, who is leader of North East Derbyshire District Council, said "I hope this order sends a clear message to those who use their vehicles in an anti-social manner that this behaviour will not be tolerated in our district."
00:40 The decision comes after 232 incidents relating to nuisance or anti-social behaviour involving vehicles were recorded between January and June across North East Derbyshire.
00:51 The most affected areas included Homewood, Grasmoor, Caylo and Arkwright with 45 incidents, followed by Dromfield with 36 incidents and Claycross with 34.
01:03 A Chesterfield woman who fell in love with a street dog while on holiday in Turkey has launched a fundraising page in a bid to rescue and re-home the stray Labrador.
01:12 Ellie Fraser, 24, is a regular holidaymaker in Turkey and following her recent visit earlier this month with her parents and young daughter,
01:19 she said that her family fell in love with a stray dog named Honey who lives on the streets of Hiseranu.
01:25 Since returning home, Ellie has launched a fundraising page to secure a minimum of £2,000 in the hopes of rescuing and re-homing Honey, who is thought to be aged between 2 and 5 years old.
01:35 Ellie's JustGiving page has already raised more than £400 with countless messages of support from sponsors.
