00:03Police, who are investigating an incident on a bus in Derbyshire, are appealing for two witnesses who intervened to come forward.
00:11The incident occurred on the villager bus from Derby to Burton-on-Trent at around 7pm on July 11th, when a man behaved inappropriately to a woman passenger.
00:21Two teenage boys who were on the bus at the time intervened and helped move the man away.
00:26Officers are keen to speak to the boys and anyone else who witnessed the incident, as they may have information which could help their investigation.
00:34Anyone with information is asked to contact Derbyshire Police, quoting reference number 2400-041-3154.
00:45Litter pickers have collected over half a tonne of rubbish near Chesterfield, including 143 bottles of urine from one lay-by.
00:54Lee Brassington and the Chesterfield Litter Picking Group were clearing the lay-bys at the top of Haslam Bypass, near the roundabout and the lay-bys just off junction 29 of the M1.
01:05The litter pickers collected 56 bags of rubbish, which weighed 529kg, as well as 143 bottles of Drivertiser, including a full 5 litre bottle on top.
01:16Drivertiser, or truckertiser, is a phrase litter pickers use to describe urine in a plastic bottle, usually found by the side of the road or thrown through the window by a motorist.
01:26Chesterfield litter picker Lee Brassington, who took part in the lay-by clean-up said,
01:30It's disgusting behaviour from drivers. Not nice pictures to look at, but this definitely needs highlighting.
01:36It's the worst area we've ever come across. It's years of litter that's built up.
01:40We collected over half a tonne of litter, and the worst part is, we estimated we'd only clean half of it.
01:46But rest assured, we will be back to clear the rest of it in the near future.
