00:04Derbyshire Police have confirmed that a man has been pronounced dead following an incident
00:08which left a busy Chesterfield Road closed yesterday.
00:12Middlecroft Road was closed in both directions between the junction with Incasil Green Road
00:16and the junction with Church Close yesterday morning due to an ongoing police incident.
00:21A spokesperson for Derbyshire Police said,
00:24We were called shortly before 7.35am to a report that a man had been found unconscious
00:29in Incasil Green Road, Chesterfield.
00:31Police and paramedics attended and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
00:35There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death
00:39and a file has been prepared for the coroner.
00:41The man's family are aware and our thoughts are with them at this sad time.
00:48Chesterfield model Daniela Allfree is reprising her role as a darts walk-on girl
00:52in televised competitions after a six-year absence.
