00:08 Officers have recently been called to reports of the swans at Holmbrook Valley Park in Chesterfield, near Lansdale Green.
00:14 On examination of the swans, fishing hooks and air rifle pellets have been found within their bodies.
00:19 Police have also had to attend incidents where swans have been attacked by dogs that were not on their leads in their park.
00:25 Following the incident, police have appealed to dog walkers to keep their pets under control and on leads when they are in the park.
00:31 And they have urged anyone who has seen or heard anything that could assist their enquiries by calling the force on 101 and quoting crime reference number 23*580-724.

00:52 Phoebe Shaw is aiming to walk 11,000 steps a day through September for Prostate Cancer UK's March the Month challenge.
