00:00 Hi Vogue, come get ready with me for Vogue World.
00:05 I forgot to say I'm Mod Apatow.
00:07 Hi Vogue, I'm Mod Apatow,
00:11 come get ready with me for Vogue World.
00:14 (upbeat music)
00:16 I'm drinking a drink, okay?
00:21 So we have this two-piece outfit from Bodi,
00:26 which I think is really beautiful.
00:29 With some beading, here's the top, and the gloves.
00:33 And we have this veil,
00:36 which I think is gonna be really fun for tonight.
00:38 Just a little veil moment.
00:41 (upbeat music)
00:43 Can't start my day without my coffee.
00:49 Every night in cabaret,
00:54 I like smudge my lipstick with my hand.
00:58 I've showered twice since the show last night,
01:00 and I still have it on my hand.
01:02 I've been in London now for--
01:04 - For three months?
01:05 - Since the very beginning of May.
01:07 I was doing Little Shop of Horrors in New York,
01:09 and I finished Sunday night,
01:11 and I went to the Met on Monday,
01:13 and then I left Tuesday morning to come to London
01:16 to start rehearsals Wednesday.
01:18 So it's a pretty quick turnaround.
01:20 I've spent a lot of time in London over the years,
01:26 so it was an easy--
01:28 - Transition. - Transition.
01:29 For my 18th birthday, I came here with my four best friends,
01:32 and we literally say we peaked.
01:36 That was our peak, 'cause it was the most fun trip
01:38 I've ever had in my whole life.
01:41 We just had the best time,
01:42 and we went to the club for the first time,
01:45 and we were just living.
01:46 So for tonight, with her veil,
01:51 it's a little, where it sits is a little 1950-ish.
01:55 So we're gonna go with that with a little nod,
01:59 keeping it nice and parted in the middle,
02:01 but have a bit more of a feeling to it
02:03 so that it's a bit more modern,
02:05 and she doesn't look too much like a 1950s stewardess.
02:09 - Not that I wouldn't like to look like one.
02:13 - Not that we don't wanna go that way.
02:14 (laughing)
02:15 - Yeah, I guess we're putting in some extensions
02:17 because I've had a bob for a long time, and I'm over it.
02:20 I'll try and add some length today.
02:24 I wear a wig in "Cabaret,"
02:25 even though it's very similar to my hair.
02:28 And Jackie does hair and makeup on "Cabaret,"
02:31 and that's how we met.
02:33 I think my ritual before the show
02:34 is probably doing my makeup.
02:37 - She has a look.
02:38 - I definitely start the show with a strong look,
02:42 and it takes some time.
02:44 I like to really take a long time to do my makeup,
02:48 even if it, the look is never worth that much time,
02:53 but it's more of just a nice calm moment to myself.
02:58 (upbeat music)
03:01 I love the eyeshadow.
03:03 - Yeah?
03:04 - Yeah.
03:05 - It's cute, right?
03:06 I feel like when it's gonna,
03:07 it'll give different dimensions when you blink
03:08 and when it's on the carpet, which is great.
03:10 Do you think that you would?
03:11 - Yeah, I think if we add a little liner.
03:12 - Yeah, sure, just a little bit of definition.
03:14 - Yeah.
03:15 In LA, I live with my best friend, Joanne,
03:18 and we like to get ready together and put on music
03:22 and like-
03:23 - Have a good time.
03:24 - In college, we shared, my same best friend, Joanne,
03:27 and I lived together in college,
03:28 and we had a bathroom that we shared,
03:32 and we got ready at the same time
03:33 and like dance and listen to music.
03:35 I hear the looks are gonna be really theatrical.
03:39 Harry Lambert, who's styling,
03:41 or overseeing all of the styling for the event,
03:43 is so, I'm such a big fan of his work,
03:46 and so I was really excited to meet him,
03:49 and I think the looks are probably gonna be-
03:52 - Yeah. - Insane.
03:53 (upbeat music)
03:55 It's really good.
04:00 - Ooh, it's a marriage of colors, I'm into it.
04:02 - I'm gonna get jazzed.
04:08 (laughing)
04:11 - It's like I'm getting married.
04:12 - It's exactly like you're getting married.
04:15 - To the mothers of the bride.
04:17 - I'm so proud of you.
04:21 - You want me to stand in front of the mirror?
04:23 - Yes, I do.
04:23 - The final look.
04:29 I'm ready to go, let's go.
04:36 Ready to go.
04:41 Don't wanna get anything on my gloves.
04:46 Okay, I'm ready.
04:50 Ready to go.
04:50 (laughing)
04:53 Bye guys!
