00:00 Okay, this is sounds so weird,
00:01 but I swear there's something here.
00:03 But I've always wondered why they added me
00:04 in like spicy tea.
00:05 It could also be disgusting,
00:08 but like, I feel like there's something there.
00:11 I'm Men's Health.
00:13 I am Alexander Ludwig,
00:14 and I'm gonna show you what my diet looks like
00:16 when I am training for heels.
00:18 For heels, we, you know,
00:23 scheduled workout sessions as part of our day.
00:27 So it actually became a part of our job
00:29 to show up to the gym.
00:30 Then after that, we would go into wrestling.
00:33 So we would actually get into the ring
00:35 and we would go through moves that we had to learn.
00:37 And inevitably I would say to one of them,
00:40 "Hey, I've got this move that I saw on YouTube
00:42 "that I really wanna be able to do.
00:44 "And I don't know, do you think we can do this?"
00:46 And they would go, "Yes."
00:47 And we would start working on that move
00:49 to find a way to work it into the script later.
00:53 In a perfect world, I'll skip breakfast.
00:58 I'll have a coffee before I train and I'll go train.
01:02 Then I do, and this is a big thing on TikTok,
01:05 which is really funny.
01:06 They call it like the 12, 330.
01:08 But essentially you're on a treadmill at a 12 incline
01:13 going three miles per hour for 30 minutes,
01:16 basically low intensity aerobic activity.
01:19 And that really helps burn fat without losing muscle.
01:24 For lunch, I'll usually have a salad with chicken.
01:27 So it'll be like a chicken Caesar salad,
01:29 romaine lettuce, chicken, some olive oil,
01:32 and then maybe some vegetables in it, just very basic.
01:36 And then for dinner, it'll usually be chicken, fish,
01:39 or steak with vegetables and potatoes or sweet potatoes.
01:43 That's like in a perfect world.
01:45 And that's definitely when I feel my best.
01:47 Toughest diet I've ever done for a role.
01:50 It has to be bad boys or heels.
01:52 It's a toss up between the two.
01:55 Oh, definitely beer and iron side,
01:58 because I just, I'm fascinated with that culture.
02:00 And I would just get spraying about what was it
02:02 I would've liked being a Viking.
02:05 My favorite go-to carb, if I'm being healthy,
02:07 it's sweet potatoes.
02:09 Go-to comfort food is pizza, for sure.
02:12 My wife's been getting me on this like deep dish pizza,
02:14 which is like phenomenal.
02:17 I'm like a meat lovers guy.
02:19 I just want like all the meat.
02:21 The secret to a good protein shake,
02:23 I mean, for me, it's blueberries.
02:25 I love blueberries.
02:26 Last meal I cooked for, I made chicken wings,
02:30 which doesn't sound that great, but I gotta be honest.
02:33 I kind of crushed it.
02:35 We sat down, we watched "Survivor" with our baby girl,
02:38 and I grilled chicken wings.
02:40 I made this like epic sauce.
02:42 And chicken wings are actually like,
02:44 if you're grilling them,
02:44 they're actually a great happy medium, like cheat meal.
02:47 'Cause they're not really a cheat
02:49 if you're not frying them.
02:50 I'm gonna do that more.
02:52 Oh yeah.
02:53 You always have to have ranch anywhere close to the pizza.
02:56 Now you're just making me hungry.
02:58 A dream taco, like fish tacos in Hawaii.
03:02 They're just like ridiculous.
03:03 Like a fish or shrimp taco is amazing.
03:06 Okay, this is sounds so weird,
03:08 but I swear there's something here.
03:10 But like, I've always wondered why they added me
03:11 in like spicy tea.
03:12 It could also be disgusting,
03:15 but like, I feel like there's something there.
03:18 All right, men's health, that is what I eat.
03:21 That's some of my training,
03:22 and I hope you check out Heals,
03:24 and I hope you guys love it.
