00:00 What's up everybody? It's Joe Anthony of Salon Prophet. Hey listen guys, I'm gonna
00:04 show you a really quick haircut today and I want to give props and shout out
00:07 to Sam Miller for teaching me this. Really great hairdresser. If you ever
00:11 wanted to learn things, you know, and you want to try some new stuff, check him out.
00:15 He's very cool, very good stuff. But anyway, he taught me this trick a long time ago and
00:18 I was about to do this haircut. I said, you know what, I hate to do something and
00:22 waste it when we can share ideas to help each other grow in the expansion. So once
00:26 again, it's Joe Anthony of Salon Prophet. What we're gonna do is a long bob. So we're
00:29 gonna do this really quickly. If you've watched me cut hair, if you've watched my
00:32 videos, if you've watched all the stuff that I do on the cheese stage, representing
00:35 cheese, then you will see that everything I do is quick, very fast. So it's
00:40 not about spending like 45 minutes or two hours with one client. You want to
00:44 get the client in and out. They're busy people. They don't have time. Everybody's
00:47 in a double left-click society right now and they want to move. They don't have
00:50 time to sit there and mess around. If they do, maybe book them separately for a
00:53 separate type of situation. But if it's a haircut, these are professional people and they want to
00:57 move quickly. So we're gonna come in here. We're gonna take the chin just
01:00 slightly downward this way. You want to make sure that you are always prepping your canvas.
01:05 So we're gonna be using the keratin mist. Alright, this is a, using this as a
01:09 cutting agent. Always prepping my canvas. Another thing that we're gonna go in with is gonna be my silk infusion.
01:15 So we're going with silk infusion to do the haircut. Alright, very quick haircut
01:19 here. You want to make sure you have enough silk in the hair because it's gonna glide
01:22 very easy. Alright, and she has a lot of hair, a lot more than what it looks like. So we're gonna
01:26 come in here, take the section down like so. And what you'll do, alright, this is
01:32 for you Sam. Here we go. One, two, and then down, and three. From this point right here.
01:38 The next thing, we're gonna come in here and we're gonna cut this. Now, I learned
01:44 this differently and I'm teaching it to you my way now, okay. The way I learned it
01:48 was to cut a straight line. But I'm not gonna cut a straight line because I
01:51 don't cut straight lines. I'm gonna come in here and create this nice little
01:54 invert coming around this way. And then from the opposite side like this on both
01:58 sides. Alright, so come in here, rock it out, get right inside. Alright, so all the
02:04 way to the middle. Look how cool this is. Come all the way to the top like this.
02:08 Don't worry about it. Just cut it off. And I want you to notice something because a
02:13 lot of y'all were asking me this question the other day online and I
02:16 appreciate it. All the interaction. Anybody who asked me a question, I really
02:19 appreciate it because this is all about you and about winning, alright. I have a
02:22 successful salon. If you don't have a successful salon, you should be paying
02:26 attention, okay. Because I'm showing you how to do it and I'm giving it away. So
02:29 here we go. We're right here. That's the movement right there. You see how that
02:32 came around. That's what you should end up with. This nice concave look in motion,
02:36 alright. So once again, we're coming in very jagged. We're coming in very deep
02:40 into the penetration there with the shears. So when you release it, watch what's
02:44 gonna happen. When we took that and twisted it, it made the corners travel a
02:47 further distance, alright. You might need to come in and do a little more
02:50 preparation there towards the end but this is what you're gonna end up with
02:53 right here. You're gonna end up with a really nice line that's coming around
02:56 the corner. It's gonna be shorter in the middle and really shaping up towards the
03:00 edges. So if you see a long piece that doesn't belong, go ahead and get rid of
03:03 it. But also, when you start to comb this in like this, you'll see how it starts to
03:07 support itself and then it will come around the shoulders very nicely. So when
03:11 you see it move around the shoulder, it automatically starts dropping into this
03:15 long bob. You're done. Now we just blend the sides in and you get paid. That's how
03:19 easy it is, okay. And that's how easy it can be for you and your salon if you're
03:22 following this. So pay attention to what's happening here at the Salon
03:25 Profit. I'm gonna show you a little more tricks as we move along into this next
03:28 section of the hair. I've already pre-parted the hair. For those of y'all who
03:31 just took my class in Vegas, thank you for coming. I appreciate you over there. I
03:35 think that was the CEA Association. Thank you for having me out. I really appreciate
03:38 it. And so right now we have the top of the eyebrow bone and we're gonna go with
03:42 the very center part of the head right here, alright. Right here. So take that
03:46 section and we're gonna bring that all the way over like this. This is going to
03:50 eliminate any of those long pieces that come over. So those of you guys who are
03:54 sitting there and you cut a bob and you always have that long piece that keeps
03:57 falling over, alright. You know what I'm talking about. If you cut a one-length bob,
04:00 one piece always falls over and you have to cut it off. If you do this angle the way I
04:04 just did right here, which is taking the top of the eyebrow bone to the highest
04:07 point of the head, that section is gone. It'll never happen to you again, alright.
04:10 Therefore, whenever you're doing layers, you're gonna end up with an even
04:14 distribution of layers on both sides of the head and never end up with one side
04:17 with layers and the other side without, okay. And when you layer hair, people just
04:21 layer hair. There's no such thing as three layers, four layers, six layers,
04:24 alright. You're layering a curved surface. So that's what you're gonna do. You want a
04:28 lot of layers or a little bit of layers. You want long layers, you want short
04:31 layers. That's the verbage you need to use. So let's come around this way and
04:35 we're gonna come in here. Take that shortest point right there. It's already
04:39 there, alright. Bend your hand down and under, come up and look. Point cut, point
04:44 cut, point cut, point cut, all the way down. Alright, all the way down, all the way
04:48 down, all the way down. Very nice and easy. When you release that, it falls to its
04:53 longest point right there. There, that's nice. Little square, not a problem. Take
04:59 the square out. See how my fingers are moving down? Because the section is going
05:03 down. Very cool. See how it's coming around longest point towards the front?
05:08 Same thing on this side. We're gonna come in. I'll switch sides with you real
05:15 quick. We're coming here this way. Now here, keep your angle down, turn the hand
05:21 this way. From the bottom up, we're gonna come up and cut that into there. And
05:24 there, my friends, is your baseline. All the way across the bob. Okay, very simple
05:31 and easy to do. Now watch this. This one's gonna blow you away because this is so
05:35 freaking easy. So here we go. Watch. Take everything to the middle like so. It only
05:40 happens one time, so pay attention, okay? We go over here, bring it all the way down to the
05:45 center. We'll come here. And we're just gonna do a little bit the first time.
05:52 We'll have a look at it. If we want to do more later, we'll do more. We start at the
05:55 bottom and we're gonna come in. Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. Come to the center, come in.
06:01 Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. All the way through. Come to the top.
06:05 Come in. Feed the shear all the way through. When you get to the very top,
06:11 bend your fingers because her head is not square. Come in all the way down and
06:15 drop it. And now what you've just done is you've layered the hair in the same
06:20 shape and fashion. Watch this. It's happening once, right in front of me. In the same shape and
06:25 fashion that the hair is falling. So now the layers are going short in the middle
06:29 and long to the outside. So when she styles this hair, it's gonna really have a nice
06:33 swing to it. Alright guys, so I'm almost done with this haircut. You know what you
06:37 have to do. You have to tune in, maybe buy the video or sign up with our program.
06:41 Look for what was coming up next. We have something called the Zaza. The Zaza will be
06:45 introduced very soon. This is a revised book to win. Alright, so if you own a
06:50 salon, want to own a salon or trying to run your business, this has been revised
06:53 through people that I've met and traveled and talked to all over the world and we're
06:57 putting it together. And if you want to know what Zaza means, it means the boss.
07:00 It also means laughter in Russian. So check it out because it'll be coming out
07:03 very soon. It's my product. It's my book that we wrote and it's something that's
07:07 been copywritten and it's awesome. Thanks to all the people in New York and
07:10 everybody who's been a part of this and also my team here at Vittoria, Texas. But
07:14 more haircuts like this coming your way. So pay attention. This is Joe Anthony
07:17 at Salon Profit. Love you guys. See you. Bye bye.
