One of Xerfi Global’s latest reports is "World Financial Centres", a sector whose health is benefitting from more favourable market conditions and gradually returning to pre-crisis levels thanks to a number of factors including a more buoyant economy but also regulatory changes that are creating new opportunities as well as persistent difficulties in bank lending that are pushing a greater number of companies to look to capital markets. The turmoil of 2008, when global market capitalisation fell to 22.8 trillion euros is now history with 2013 capitalisation of over 45.0 trillion euros representing almost double this and marks a recovery, overtaking 2007’s 42.7 trillion.
