WORLD CUP: French Football Federation boss Escalettes quits

WORLD CUP - Jean-Pierre Escalettes, the French Football Federation president, resigned Monday after the French team’s dismal performance both on and off the pitch during the 2010 World Cup. France crashed out of the tournament with just one point and one goal.
