00:00And it is not going to be a small feat to try and run up one up what was done in Paris.
00:05But there are a few things.
00:06One thing that L.A. has determined is that they are not going to build any new buildings.
00:11So construction is not going to be something that they'll be looming against any kind of
00:15deadlines for L.A. 28.
00:17The biggest issues facing Los Angeles right now is transportation and the homelessness
00:21problem.
00:22So first, transportation is the biggest one.
00:25Los Angeles, it is famous all over the world.
00:27Love their cars.
00:28There is not a big public transit system here.
00:31So they're going to have to figure out how to bus everybody.
00:34It's a vast city.
00:35There are a lot of different venues in very far locations.
00:38So really trying to figure out how to utilize the transportation and how to get people out
00:43of the city so that there isn't all of that congestion.
00:46Now, Mayor Karen Bass has promised that they will bring in buses to bring people to the
00:50different locations.
00:51There will be dedicated bus lanes to help with congestion.
00:55And she is hoping that a lot of Los Angelinos will be leaving the city during the Olympic
00:59Games or if they do stay here, that there will be work from home mandates to allow for
01:04that congestion, because that's where most of the traffic happens is during the commute
01:09to and from work.
01:10Now, the other problem is homelessness.
01:12It is a major issue here in Los Angeles.
01:15And so Mayor Karen Bass is trying to ensure that we can fix both of those problems.
