00:00Time for some sports on the program. Leo McGuinn with me here in the studio and
00:04Leo we're talking first of all about the Tour de France. There is something there
00:07that we haven't seen in 30 years or so. That's right because there isn't one
00:11stage today Nadia. There's two stages. This is in the women's Tour de France
00:17something that hasn't happened since 1991 back in the in 1991 of the men's
00:22Tour de France when there was two stages in a day. So we've already had one result
00:26this morning. Charlotte de Kool went back-to-back to take the second stage
00:30after she won the first stage yesterday. She beat fellow Dutch rider Lorena
00:34Wiebes to take the leaders, well to retain the leaders yellow jersey. The
00:39race took the riders 70 kilometers from Dordrecht to the nearby port city
00:44of Rotterdam through some typical Dutch countryside. Lots of windmills on show. I
00:49don't know about you Nadia but I'd be pretty tired after 70 kilometers of
00:53cycling. Not these women though because they're doing it all again the time
00:57trial that's currently going on. We should have the results of that within
01:00the hour or so. It is a super short race though through the streets of
01:05Rotterdam but going back to that this morning's victory Charlotte de Kool seems
01:09to be in dreamland. Take a listen to what she had to say. Yeah dreams come through
01:16quite fast these days. First yesterday and today already in this evening and
01:21this jersey is yeah real special. I didn't expect this two weeks ago but
01:28yeah it can change fast. Lots more still to come from the Tour de France.
01:34Meanwhile though Leo we are only three days away from the start of the Premier
01:39League season but in lots of cases we don't actually know where the players
01:42are going to end up. Yeah I can't believe that the Premier League season only three
01:46days away from starting again. It seems perpetual doesn't it and as always the
01:50transfer window filled with a drama. I'll start with one transfer that has
01:55actually been confirmed today. That's Aaron Wan-Bissaka making the move from
01:59up north. Manchester United to London. West Ham United the fee thought to be
02:04around 17 million euros. The right back doesn't seem to fit in with United
02:10manager Eric ten Haag's plans. West Ham had a very busy window actually. This is
02:15their eighth permanent signing. They also have a new manager. They replaced David
02:18Moyes with Hulen Lopdegui during the offseason. They're really making a push
02:23for that top six position after finishing outside the top six last
02:28season. Aaron Wan-Bissaka could make his debut as early as this weekend actually
02:32as the Hammers play Aston Villa in their opening fixtures. Let's move on to some
02:36transfers. We're less sure about all that we know won't happen.
02:39Liverpool have been dealt a major blow. They look certain to sign Spanish
02:42midfielder Martin Zubimendia but that deal has fallen apart as the player has
02:47opted to stay at his boyhood club elsewhere. Conor Gallagher remains in
02:52transfer limbo. He passed a medical at Let's Go Madrid but now he's been
02:56recalled to London by his parent club Chelsea as they can't seem to get that
03:01deal over the line. Talking about Chelsea they've made 35 signings in the last two
03:06transfer windows. Seems to be a revolving door policy there but three days left to
03:11go until the Premier League starts. It's all chaos and that's how we love it.
