00:00They come from different countries, don't speak the same language, and yet they're taking
00:05part in the Paris Olympics under the same banner, the Refugee Olympic Team.
00:10Iran, Sudan or Cameroon, like more than 100 million people around the world, these 37
00:16athletes have fled war or tyranny, sending a message of hope and inclusion to millions
00:22of forcibly displaced people.
00:23I'm just one of millions, you know, there's many of us out there, many refugees out there
00:28just like me that have not been given the opportunity that we've been watching in the
00:31Olympics and hopefully we can inspire, I can inspire them to kind of believe in themselves
00:36and believe that through hard work and through hardship you can strive for life and achieve
00:41miracles.
00:42Gathered in the town of Bayeux in Normandy, they gear up for the Olympics and train in
00:47these top level facilities, something they haven't always been able to enjoy.
00:52We are the sample of the never give up, we are the sample of the keep going, if you have
00:56a dream you have to keep going until you arrive at your goals.
01:00Created in 2015 for the Rio Games, the Refugee Team is taking part in its third Olympics
01:05in Paris.
01:06They haven't yet won any medals but hope to do so this year.
