The final weekend of March is when Washington, D.C.'s iconic cherry trees will be in full bloom, but that's not the only city with a cherry blossom festival.

00:00Well, spring is here and while it maybe hasn't completely felt like spring so
00:05far for some of us, the cherry blossoms in D. C. They got the memo. They said
00:10it is time to bloom. In fact, peak bloom for the cherry blossoms. It's coming
00:15up. Well, you can already see they are definitely out in full force in this
00:19video from the White House. It's going to get even better in the next couple
00:22of days. The National Park Service estimates peak bloom is going to be
00:25March 28th to the 31st. So that's this Friday through Monday. The cherry
00:30blossom festival there in D. C. It's already ongoing started March 20th and
00:34it's gonna last through April 13th now for peak bloom weekend. If you want to
00:38go out and see the cherry blossoms, here's a look at what to expect. As far
00:41as the weather, it's a little bit of a mixed bag, right? Sunday, maybe not your
00:45day to go see the cherry blossoms with the rain expected. But Saturday and
00:49Friday, great days overall. And if you want warmer temperatures, Saturday is
00:53your day. If you want maybe less clouds, Friday is your day. But it's
00:56not just D. C. That has cherry blossoms making Georgia their cherry blossom
01:01festival. That is March 21st to the 30th. Here's their weekend forecast.
01:06If maybe this weekend is when you want to head out and see the cherry
01:09blossoms. They're pretty nice. Overall, we're only seeing temperatures vary by
01:13a few degrees day to day. It's a mix of sun and clouds each day. So maybe just
01:18pick the day that's most convenient for you. We're not looking at a lot of wind
01:20either. It does pick up a little bit saturday and sunday versus friday. But
01:24we're talking about, you know, five mile per hour wind speeds friday versus 10
01:28to 15 saturday and sunday. So not really a big deal overall. These are not the
01:32only cities either. We'll move on to another one. Nashville, their cherry
01:35blossom festival. It's not till april 12th, but maybe you want to head out and
01:40see what they look like this weekend, friday and sunday. Those are your better
01:43days because we're looking at thunderstorms on saturday. Temperature
01:47wise, sunday is even warmer at 80 degrees.
