Wintry weather is continuing around the Great Lakes through the middle of January.

00:00We've had a surplus of snow for some.
00:02In places like Erie,
00:03they could use some of that
00:04moisture farther Southwest.
00:05Yeah, they really could, right?
00:07And these areas have seen quite a lot.
00:10Actually, this past lake effects season
00:13and it just continues to get more impressive.
00:16We still have a pretty big one on
00:18our hands at least through tomorrow.
00:19We are anticipating feet of snow,
00:21especially where you're seeing
00:23those darker blues on your board.
00:24Your acrylical storm acts as high as 48 inches.
00:27We're talking the Western Met in Traverse City,
00:30Northwest PA, Southwest New York,
00:33even parts of I-81, Syracuse, Utica.
00:35These areas that were just hard hit
00:37actually by lake effect snow not too long ago.
00:40Also Ego, you're gonna be seeing
00:41about four to eight inches
00:43we're forecasting for you right now.
00:45So heads up, more of that snow blowing mechanisms
00:50are going to be needed as we do head
00:52throughout the rest of our Wednesday.
00:54Though here comes our next feature
00:56right on the heels of this one.
00:58And this is going to add on a few inches
01:01to a few of those areas.
01:02Some of the same areas that got hit with the lake effect.
01:06Not a lot of snow that we're adding on,
01:08but still when you look at things,
01:10when all is said and done,
01:11this goes through Thursday night,
01:13we could see an additional three to six inches
01:17across some parts that already did see feet of snow
01:21from this lake effect event.
01:22Your acrylical storm acts as high as 12 inches.
01:25It is going to be a chilly, chilly start.
01:27And this doesn't just go for Wednesday.
01:29We're also tracking this into Thursday as well.
