00:00Your Halloween quite warm as well.
00:01You certainly didn't need the jackets
00:03if you were out trick or treating,
00:05though. Watch what happened here.
00:07Further West you can tell the
00:09temperature has dropped and
00:10it's dropped quite a bit.
00:12We're down 26 degrees on the mercury
00:14here in Pittsburgh down 24 in Buffalo.
00:16Charleston, you're down 12 out
00:18here closer towards the coast.
00:19We haven't seen that difference quite yet,
00:22but temperatures are going to be coming down.
00:24Rainfall over the last 30 days has
00:26also been one of the bigger stories.
00:29That's because we haven't really seen any.
00:31Rainfall and we really do need the rain as
00:34we are concerned about an expanding drought.
00:37Now if you look at this map we are well
00:40below to where we would typically be.
00:43And if you look at an area like Philadelphia,
00:46we have surpassed records.
00:47That is days without measurable rainfall.
00:49That old record was 29 days in a row.
00:52And note that happened in the 1800s.
00:55The new record, of course,
00:56this year 1232 days were expected
00:58to add on another one when the
01:00official climate report comes out.
01:03In Philadelphia,
01:0332 expecting it to be 33 with that
01:06last measurable rainfall taking
01:08place on September 28th.
01:09Future radar showing that we don't
01:11really have more in the way of rain.
01:14We have more in the way of sunshine
01:16and dry weather and that's going
01:18to stay the same even as we head
01:20into Sunday you'll note that we
01:22don't get our next chance for rain
01:25across parts of the Northeast
01:26until late Sunday into Monday.
01:28So we're monitoring that situation,
01:30but still not expected to see a lot of
01:32rain at least to put a dent in some
01:35of these dry dry grounds this week.
01:37Pittsburgh 59 on Saturday up 74 by Monday,
01:40so another warm spell here on the way.
01:42Boston,
01:42you're going to be in the 50s through the
01:45weekend, but an area like Pittsburgh.
01:48You can say bye to the 50s by Tuesday.
01:51We're reaching the 80s with plenty of
01:53sunshine though rain on Wednesday.
01:54It's going to bring those
01:56temperatures down again,
01:57knocking them back down to the 60s.
