Thunderstorms and humidity return to the Northeast

Forecasters say wet weather is making its way back into the northeastern U.S.

00:00We need to keep an eye out for some thunderstorms. It'll be increasing over the next few days.

00:04Yeah, don't get used to it though. I am hoping that you did get out and enjoy the nice

00:09and splendid weather that we had this past weekend and for the most part we held on to it through the

00:15beginning of the week. We did have this pesky low though that was back into the New England coast

00:20yesterday and today bringing with it some wet weather. Yeah, last night into today we've been

00:24dealing with some showers. There were some delays near Boston Logan International Airport earlier.

00:28These are not going to be with us too long. That system actually drifts northeast over the

00:32Canadian Maritimes but big picture the moisture will be increasing across more of the northeast

00:39here tied to a more influential storm in the Great Lakes region that drags the moisture in.

00:43The thunderstorms will be returning in many areas. Yeah and with that the increase in humidity as well.
