00:00 So these are the temperature swings
00:01 that we often get this time of year,
00:03 but it's one that we're going
00:05 to continue to deal with.
00:06 Unfortunately,
00:06 a pattern that we're going to continue
00:08 and deal with over the upcoming days.
00:09 So let's get you set up here with what's
00:11 going on across the Northeast right now.
00:13 The radar scan showing you
00:14 not much happening out there.
00:16 You have to head to Wisconsin
00:17 to find any of that moisture,
00:18 which we'll talk about a little later on.
00:20 Boundary off towards the South
00:21 keeps things pretty quiet.
00:22 So our story really is about the numbers,
00:24 and you'll notice right now it is fairly quiet.
00:26 Temperatures in the 40s in Burlington.
00:28 59 there in Pittsburgh, 57 in Columbus,
00:30 53 in New York City.
00:31 By the way,
00:32 we've got the view coming in from the Big Apple.
00:34 It's pretty decent, fairly quiet.
00:36 Add a couple clouds every now and then,
00:38 but for the most part it's a pretty
00:40 good evening as you look at New York
00:43 City through the upcoming hours.
00:44 So where do we go from here?
00:46 Well, New York City.
00:47 It's not going to necessarily be
00:49 a frost or freeze concern for you,
00:51 but if you get far enough West into New
00:53 Jersey up the Hudson into New York,
00:55 we do have some freeze and frost
00:57 advisories frost advisories.
00:58 Freeze warnings in place where we've had
01:00 the growing season starting to get going.
01:02 So that's where we're concerned
01:04 with a little bit of that cold.
01:06 Obviously will be colder to the
01:08 northern Pennsylvania upstate New York,
01:09 but these locations we haven't
01:11 started the growing season just yet,
01:13 so we watch those low temperatures
01:14 go to 37 in Burlington,
01:16 41 in Pittsburgh,
01:17 45 in New York City.
01:18 But again,
01:19 you get out of the city.
01:21 That's where we start to find those
01:23 numbers dipping into the upper 30s.
01:24 In some locations Tuesday morning,
01:26 not night, not quite as cold as where we've been,
01:29 but we do warm up fairly nicely and we
01:31 wait for that next storm system to come
01:33 in from the West and this is where we
01:35 start to get the moisture a little bit
01:37 of shower activity for a place like
01:39 Columbus and Detroit as the rainfall
01:40 starts to work its way back in.
01:42 And this storm system.
01:43 It's a cold front that comes through.
01:45 It's just got enough cold air that
01:46 it is going to allow for a bit
01:48 of snow on the backside.
01:49 So for Burlington,
01:50 some rain for you temperatures in
01:52 the upper 40s there and will watch
01:53 as again this storm system provides.
01:56 but at least a bit of snow as we head through Wednesday into Wednesday evening.
