00:00And back with a vengeance today, fellas.
00:02Yeah, Cam Newton, an early candidate
00:04for coach of the year.
00:05He's absolutely dialing these plays.
00:07And he's got his protege, the quarterback, Derrick Baker.
00:09They spend days of the week watching tape.
00:12They review everything.
00:13They train on a weekly basis.
00:15This is the next guy up.
00:16Now, they're absolutely star studded.
00:17They got Derrick Baker, Devin Carter, their leading wide
00:19receiver, and also Travis Hunter's younger brother,
00:22Travis, who we saw get a touchdown grab
00:24and also grabbed a one-point gamble as well earlier today.
00:27Yeah, he has a ton of athleticism.
00:29You can see that it's in the bloodlines there.
00:31He made some great plays.
00:32Athleticism in the back of the end zone for the touchdown.
00:34A lot of talent on the C1N team.
00:36Yeah, C1N, flow.
00:38They're about to go to battle out here,
00:39and we cannot wait to see it.
00:41They've looked like one of the most impressive teams
00:43out here so far.
00:44My name's Kieran Hickey-Simple.
00:46I'm joined here with my guys, Mo Hassan and Adam Brenneman.
00:49How we doing tonight, fellas?
00:50Guys, the juice is on the charts.
00:54I got too excited here because the athletes are unbelievable.
00:57There's five and four stars.
00:58The future of football is on the field.
01:00We got Cam Newton coaching the team on NFL Network.
01:03It's special, man.
01:04Let's go.
01:05It is special.
01:06On the opposite side, we have a very special quarterback,
01:08Malachi Ziegler.
01:09And his father won Super Bowl XXIX.
01:11I'm not even going to pretend like I know what Roman Newell that is.
01:14You couldn't even guess?
01:17Wait, 29.
01:18Is it 29?
01:20I don't know.
01:21If it's 29, then that's crazy.
01:2395?
01:24That might be 29.
01:261995 was the Super Bowl.
01:28It might be Super Bowl XXIX.
01:29It's close enough.
01:30We got Cam Newton down here on the field.
01:31He has been coaching his tail off.
01:33And this offense looks as professional as ever.
01:36They're running tight formations.
01:38They're stacking.
01:39They're using motion.
01:40And most importantly, the craziest thing I've seen is this snapper from
01:43under center.
01:44Yeah.
01:45And we're getting some pro-style offense out here.
01:47Under center, as you said, they're bringing the motion in.
01:49They're using a lot of pro-style route concepts.
01:51That comes from their head coach, Cam Newton.
01:54Right there, a little roll out.
01:56Screen from the slot wide receiver.
01:58It's just nuance that you don't see normally in 7-on-7.
02:02Normally, you just see a straight shotgun drop back.
02:06But today, Derrick Baker has been taken from under center.
02:09Six touchdowns with a 63% lead.
02:11He's under center right here.
02:12A lot of quarterbacks do believe, it seems like Cam Newton does,
02:15that you can be in better rhythm if you're under center.
02:17Sometimes the footwork's a little bit cleaner.
02:19You get a nice drop back from under center.
02:21Moe, what do you think about that?
02:22Do you like being under center?
02:23I actually do like it.
02:24I played in pro-style in college when I was at Vanderbilt,
02:26and I think it just gives you a better rhythm.
02:28Prepares you better for Sundays as well.
02:31And it gives you a play-action game, I think.
02:33You turn you back to the defense linebackers,
02:35play up a little bit more towards the line of scrimmage.
02:37It's an advantage.
02:38Here we go, Stack.
02:40Tight formation right here.
02:42They like this in the red zone.
02:44And what a catch!
02:45See what in!
02:47That's Ryan Mosley, the big-body contested catch specialist,
02:51is showing why he's so special right now.
02:54Cam Newton fired up on the sideline.
02:58I love that play design there, the tight formation,
03:01and then spread out of it.
03:02Ryan Mosley, the possession receiver, big, strong, 6'4", 210 pounds,
03:09using the physicality, willing it to happen.
03:13Nice catch by Ryan Mosley.
03:16And one thing that Cam Newton and the C1N team like doing
03:19is going for our one-point gamble.
03:21The way the one-point gamble works is if the team goes for it, gets it,
03:24they receive eight points for that possession.
03:27They don't.
03:28The point will go to the other team.
03:29And what a catch in the back of the end zone.
03:31They're going to say he didn't bring it in, though.
03:33That's Devin Carter.
03:35I'd be interested to take another look at that one.
03:37So now Flo is going to get one point.
03:40Guys, what excites me the most about this matchup,
03:42A.B., you alluded to it, the creativity with the formations.
03:45They run a lot of tight, a lot of pre-snap motions.
03:48It's Cam Newton's offense versus Ryan Clark's defense.
03:51Hey, Mo, I love what you're saying.
03:53I think he might have caught this.
03:55Okay.
03:57They're going to say no catch.
03:58He was just wobbling it around a little too much.
04:01Yeah, see, he loses control there at the last minute.
04:03Good call by our officials.
04:04There's Cam right there.
04:06He knew he had it right there too.
04:07Cam is so unbelievably animated.
04:09It's so nice to see him dedicated to these young men.
04:15That's going to be four seconds.
04:17Malachi Ziegler is going to take a sack right there on the first
04:19offensive possession from Flo.
04:21We saw some very talented people come through this Flo program.
04:24Devontae Smith, Jabari Mack.
04:29He's on the team right now.
04:30Devontae Smith.
04:33Jamar Chase.
04:34That's what I was going to say, Jamar Chase.
04:36Malik Neighbors.
04:37Yeah, there you go.
04:38Some of the most talented guys to ever come out of the boot
04:40playing for this team.
04:41Bryce Underwood last year.
04:42Bryce Underwood was the quarterback of them last year.
04:44And now we've got Malachi Ziegler, quarterback here for Flo.
04:47Two touchdowns, 127 yards today.
04:49He had big shoes to fill, but he's definitely played well thus far.
04:52They're saying he's the top quarterback prospect in the state of Louisiana
04:56since Arch Manning.
04:58Wow.
04:59Arch Manning is an absolute stud.
05:01Some are saying the greatest quarterback ever.
05:03That's your longboard right there.
05:05Some are saying maybe the greatest quarterback to ever touch a football
05:07yard.
05:08I don't know about that one.
05:09I'm hearing it.
05:10I'm hearing a lot of buzz.
05:11The scouts, all of my sources.
05:14Who's your source?
05:15Me.
05:17Now, guys, for Malachi Ziegler, not the best start.
05:20You take a sack on the first play, incomplete on the second.
05:23Now, third down and 24, backs against the goal line.
05:27Just try to get half the distance here.
05:29Try to get the fourth down and 10, where then you'll go for it on fourth down.
05:32Don't have to win the game with one throw right here.
05:35Not me.
05:36I'm taking a shot.
05:38And that's going to be – he's going to get a good amount of yards right there.
05:42And he's actually going to pick up the first down.
05:44Easton Royal with the catch.
05:47Patience from the sophomore quarterback to be able to find his guy.
05:51Wasn't open at first.
05:52Had to go through a couple of aggressions.
05:54Yeah, finds a soft spot right in the middle of the defense.
05:56And what a job by wide receiver Easton Royal.
05:58The yards after catch.
06:00The explosion getting out of there in the football IQ.
06:03Knowing where the sticks are.
06:04Yeah, and the part I love is Easton Royal coming back to the quarterback on the
06:07route.
06:08Be friendly to the quarterback.
06:09We talk about that all the time for a receiver.
06:11Help the quarterback out.
06:12Show him your numbers.
06:13Give him a big target.
06:14But then once you catch the ball, you put that foot on the ground
06:17and get north and south.
06:18Yeah, he's talking a lot of big schools thus far.
06:20University of Miami, Ole Miss, Virginia Tech.
06:25Malachi sitting back.
06:26Scary throw over the middle.
06:28Ends up being incomplete.
06:30There's a flag on the play.
06:31There is a flag on the field.
06:35It's going to be against the defense here.
06:37See a holding out there.
06:43They're going to give a defensive holding there to see one in.
06:47First down and even more manageable here for Flo.
06:50I love the energy that Cam Newton is bringing out here.
06:52Coach Newton is not happy with that call.
06:54No, he's chirping, man.
06:56First of all, he was upset by the pre-tournament ranking as well.
06:59They weren't in the top ten.
07:00He was talking a lot about that.
07:01He's fired up.
07:02Kieran, how about the score, 7-1?
07:04I don't want to hear the score.
07:05I'm a soccer fan.
07:07Germany absolutely crushed my dreams in 2014,
07:10and I don't want the score to be.
07:11Oh, my gosh.
07:12He caught that.
07:13He didn't catch it in bounds, but what a crazy catch right there.
07:17From Easton Royal.
07:19No, yeah, this score haunts me terribly.
07:22I'm a huge, like, Brazil national team fan.
07:24In the World Cup at home they got tonight.
07:26Look at this one-handed grab right here.
07:28Even though he didn't catch it.
07:30Is that right foot?
07:32I don't know.
07:33See that right foot?
07:34No, that left foot just a little bit out of bounds.
07:37He didn't even bring the second hand into that one.
07:40That was crazy.
07:41That was straight one hand.
07:42All right, Easton Royal, I see you.
07:43You ever catch balls like that back in the day?
07:45All the time.
07:46I could do it right now.
07:47Okay.
07:48Best hands here.
07:49Oh, best hands.
07:50Best hands at OT7.
07:51See Malachi dropping back.
07:53And that one held on to what a catch there from Brody Demontier.
08:00He stuck it in there and put it right on his chest.
08:03I love this Brody right here.
08:04They're wide receivers.
08:05No, they're ridiculous.
08:06The tradition out of this state at that position is unmatched.
08:08The hands they have out of that position is crazy.
08:10And size.
08:11Not too many.
08:12Size, hands, no knees so they can get in and out of cuts.
08:15It's crazy.
08:16It's not just the hands.
08:17It's also the body control.
08:18Yeah.
08:19To use your hands and be able to keep your feet in traffic
08:21and bring the ball in when you're getting contacted.
08:24A third and goal here from the three.
08:26A little roll out from Malachi.
08:27He's got him.
08:28Wide open.
08:29And that's going to be a touchdown for Flo.
08:32He hits the worm.
08:33And Darby with the worm there as they take the lead after the one-point gamble.
08:40Now they're up 8-7.
08:41It's a common concept when you get inside the five.
08:44We've seen a lot of these offenses use it, the pre-snap motion.
08:47You get the rub concept.
08:48You roll right to it.
08:49It's an easy throw.
08:50Pitch and catch.
08:51Touchdown.
08:52You're on the board.
08:53I love the roll out right to the worm.
08:54Bro, that should be the first read, right?
08:56But Ziegler kind of missed it.
08:58Almost didn't see him in the fight there.
09:00Wide open.
09:01I gave that to him earlier, but nonetheless, good execution there.
09:04Flo with the answer there after a very shaky start to the drive.
09:10And they're going to go for what looks like a one-point gamble.
09:13They're going to go back out here and try to make this a two-point game.
09:17One-point gamble.
09:19Once again, if you score on your one-point gamble, you get rewarded with an extra point.
09:23If you don't, your opponent will.
09:25So right now, I don't really get going for the one-point gamble, to be honest with you.
09:30Actually, yeah.
09:31They're not going to be going for the one-point gamble, as a matter of fact.
09:35I was going to say that wouldn't really make too much sense, given the fact that.
09:39And Cam Roon's on the field.
09:41He's upset by something.
09:43Cam's out there talking crazy.
09:45There's a lot of chirping.
09:46A lot of chirping going on right now between Cam.
09:49I'll tell you what.
09:50From a player's perspective, AB, and tell me if you think the same,
09:53I want to play for a guy like that.
09:56You want to run through a brick wall for a guy like that who's batting for you,
09:59who's animated, and he's vibrant.
10:02He's just going to war for you.
10:04Yeah, as a player, you kind of live off your coach's energy.
10:08And you want to win for your coach sometimes.
10:11Listen, if I'm out here playing for Cam Roon, I want to make sure I'm winning for Cam Roon.
10:15There's Derrick Baker just going to throw it in the dirt there.
10:17Nothing going.
10:18I'm surprised by the maturity of this kid.
10:20He's been unbelievable all day, and he really just takes what the defense gives him
10:23and nothing more.
10:26He looks the part, too, Kieran.
10:28He's put together.
10:29He's a compact 6'1", 200 pounds.
10:32He's got good arm strength, making good decisions.
10:36I just think it's cool that he was handpicked by Cam Newton
10:39to be that next guy up in the state of Georgia.
10:42To have a legend like that to choose you and like, hey,
10:45we're going to watch tape a few times a week, and we're going to get this right,
10:48it's really cool.
10:49The last quarterback to be handpicked by him, Dante Moore,
10:51now going to be the starting quarterback at Oregon.
10:53We're going to head down to Tom down on the field with Kenny Darby,
10:56a.k.a. the Wyrm Master.
10:59Hey, thank you, Kieran.
11:00I'm here with Kenny Darby.
11:02Before we get into anything, I need to ask about the Wyrm.
11:05Where'd that come from?
11:07It came to my head after I scored.
11:09I mean, I talked about it at the beginning of the game.
11:11I was going to hit it, and I just hit it.
11:13What would you rate your Wyrm 1 to 10?
11:16About a 5.
11:17It was a little still.
11:21I'm not going to lie.
11:22I think you got to work on it a little bit.
11:23We're watching it right now.
11:24A little bit more torque.
11:26See, I need to see a little more form here, right?
11:29You've had a few touchdowns today, though,
11:31and you've had a few different celebrations.
11:32How many celebrations are in the bag?
11:35There's a lot.
11:36There's a lot.
11:37I tripped out.
11:39Oh, no, the celebration call.
11:44That's a good one.
11:45Last question, Cam Newton for C1N.
11:47He's very intimidating, and I'm afraid to go up to him
11:49or even be near him.
11:51When he screams, how should I approach him?
11:53What can I do?
11:55Just leave him alone.
11:58Okay, all right.
11:59We'll do that.
12:00That's a good invite.
12:01Thank you, Kenny.
12:02We'll let you get back to the game.
12:03Back to you, Cam.
12:04Kenny Harvey.
12:05Great advice right there.
12:06Great advice right there.
12:07I love the Wyrm technique that he had there.
12:08He just needed a little more action in the top end of it.
12:11The lower body was doing it.
12:12It's all at the hips.
12:13It's about getting those elbows in
12:14and pressing those hands through the ground
12:16and then getting back into the Wyrm the way it's supposed to.
12:18Sorry, I get as intense as Cam Newton coaching
12:20whenever I talk about dance moves.
12:23Derrick Baker in the back of the end zone.
12:25I mean, this kid is so cool, calm, and collected.
12:29Touchdown for Lorenzo Barber in the back of the end zone.
12:32C1N, man, they're so locked in.
12:34It looks like Cam's not happy with something
12:35that they're doing right now.
12:37And they look focused, laser focused.
12:39Derrick Baker seems to really be processing well
12:41down here in the red zone, seeing the defense really well.
12:44He found his receiver, Lorenzo Barber, there
12:46on his second read and a really good throw
12:49in the back of the end zone.
12:50You talk about processing.
12:51That's all preparation.
12:52That's watching tape.
12:53And at the quarterback position, you have a guy like Cam Newton,
12:56former MVP of the National Football League.
12:58That helps so much.
13:01The outside.
13:02What a play there on defense for Savoy Guidry.
13:06The DB sophomore out of New Orleans
13:09makes a crazy play on the ball.
13:11And that's back-to-back times.
13:13One point gamble has not worked for C1N.
13:15As you can see, C1N head coach Cameron Newton,
13:19the former Heisman winner, NFL MVP, Super Bowl appearance,
13:22having head coached C1N.
13:25He has been unbelievably vocal with his team
13:28during this break, just getting on them about processes
13:31and execution during these one-point gambles.
13:33I think he expects perfection.
13:35But maybe these one-point gambles are too much.
13:37Listen, as a head coach, Cam Newton,
13:39you've got to assess and manage risk in the game.
13:41And now they've gone for the one-point gamble two times.
13:43And they should have a seven-point lead.
13:45But instead, it's only a five-point lead in this game
13:47because they failed those two one-point gambles.
13:49I don't love the call there.
13:50Deep shot.
13:51Deep shot.
13:53And that one not completed to his target, Easton Rowe.
13:57Easton Rowe is becoming a favorite target
13:59here of Malachi Ziegler, making big catch after big catch
14:02on that last drive they had.
14:04But now, I mean, flows only scored one time.
14:06They got nine points.
14:07You can see the arm strength there of Malachi Ziegler.
14:09I mean, he can really sling it, make some good throws.
14:11He's got good throwing mechanics, too.
14:13Yeah.
14:14If it weren't for the contact down the field,
14:16I think that lands just outside his shoulder.
14:18Really good touchdown to field for the quarterback,
14:20Malachi Ziegler.
14:21You think about it, Cam.
14:22If they go for another one-point gamble and don't get it,
14:24that's essentially gifting them a money drive without meaning
14:28to.
14:32Here's Malachi Ziegler back here.
14:35Finds his target over the middle.
14:37That's Raekwon Williams.
14:39Extremely talented four-star sophomore out of New Orleans.
14:44He has been unbelievable.
14:46Now, Team Flow, Ziegler, Hudson Fields,
14:49we haven't seen him yet, but their wide receivers
14:51are incredible.
14:52Jabari Mack, Kenny Darby, number one.
14:53Raekwon Williams, you just saw make that catch.
14:55Louisiana wide receivers, they're never at a shortage
14:57of wide receivers.
14:58No, that is not the issue at all.
15:00Never.
15:02Like the little purple and gold, they're
15:04rocking kind of LSU-type colors.
15:06Yeah, the cool thing is we're kind
15:08of watching the future of the LSU Tigers.
15:10Not yet.
15:11It does look like that.
15:12Maybe a third of these guys will end up committing to LSU.
15:15Yeah, it feels that way a whole lot, too.
15:17The whole team, other than maybe like two guys,
15:20all from what's called New Orleans, Louisiana area.
15:24It's been unbelievable what Ryan Clark's been able to build
15:26with that program.
15:27And they're going to flip the field.
15:28Huge stop there from C1N.
15:31Making Malachi Ziegler back there in the pocket.
15:34We're now going to see Derek Baker take over back again
15:38on the C1N offense.
15:40And this has been one of the most fun offenses
15:42to watch all week, guys.
15:44Yeah, they do such a great job of getting these wide receivers
15:47in space with the creativity, the different formations.
15:50Down in the low red zone, they run a lot of stack formations.
15:53Causes so many issues with regard
15:55to leverage at the defensive back position.
15:57It's so hard to cover.
15:59And here you're going to see a stop.
16:02And here you're going to see a stop.
16:03That is Travis Hunter with the catch.
16:06Oh, it's not Travis.
16:07My apologies.
16:08That is Omari Stevens, who's also an absolute dog
16:13out of Miami, Florida.
16:14Like a real problem.
16:15You caught on his film, it's incredible to watch.
16:17To your point about C1N, you've got to give Cam Newton credit
16:20for his coaching.
16:21Offenses have to be really simple for the players,
16:24especially the receivers and the quarterback timing.
16:26But have the illusion of complexity for everybody else.
16:28They've got to look really complex.
16:30Like these formations do with the motion, the shifts.
16:33Look, they've got two guys moving right now as a shift.
16:35But for the players, it's simple.
16:37They know what they're doing.
16:38For all of us up here, for the defense,
16:40it looks really complicated.
16:41That's right.
16:42A lot of these concepts will be the same.
16:45But if you get to them in different ways,
16:47you can dress it up.
16:48Then it causes a lot of issues for the defense,
16:50even if the defense is coached by an all-pro like Ryan Clark.
16:53Michael Garrett, the four-star linebacker,
16:56nearly makes a huge game-changing play right here
16:59if he could just keep his hands on that football.
17:02He's got to flip those hips around.
17:04He's a linebacker, man.
17:06He's not one of those DBs.
17:07Maybe that's why.
17:08Yeah.
17:10That kid's extremely talented.
17:11He's an Auburn commit out of Oxford, Alabama,
17:136'2", 205 pounds,
17:16and an absolute weapon in the middle of that field.
17:19One minute remaining here in this half, a third and nine.
17:22Derek Baker's going to find his target.
17:25That's Peyton Zachary over the middle.
17:27And they're going to hurry up and get to the line.
17:29Well-coached team right here trying to keep things moving.
17:32And if you look,
17:33OT7 has had some of the best players in the country
17:36in college football come through here.
17:38Jeremiah Smith played for SFU.
17:40You saw Nico Ayama in his pajama pants out here pooping.
17:44Jacoby Lane, the star wide receiver from USC.
17:47And Bryce Underwood,
17:48the number one quarterback in the country,
17:50who's committed to LSU, played on this flow team.
17:52Then he ended up going to Michigan for a gazillion bucks.
17:55And people...
17:56DJ Lagway, starting quarterback at the University of Florida,
18:00probably one of the best,
18:01if not the best quarterback in the SEC.
18:03Exactly.
18:04And also, KJ Bolden got to get serious reps
18:07and played significantly for Kirby Smart's defense
18:10this past year.
18:11I mean, the talent is unbelievable.
18:13And we're going to see a lot of first-round picks
18:15that have played here at OT7.
18:16Yeah, and it's helping these quarterbacks develop even faster.
18:19Yes.
18:20We see so many more guys as true freshmen
18:22starting and playing well,
18:23rookies in the NFL as well.
18:25And a lot of it is because of these extra reps
18:27that guys are getting in the spring.
18:29Yeah, and quarterbacks are also seeing
18:31some very complex defenses and some different coverages.
18:34And it's picked off!
18:35And can he take it all the way back for flow?
18:39And that's a huge play for flow.
18:42Quarterback, wide receiver, not on the same timing.
18:45Dylan Henry, the sophomore out of Mandeville, Louisiana,
18:52sends his whole team into the pit as flow,
18:55even though they're still down right now,
18:57with four seconds left in the half.
18:59Yeah, it looks like there was miscommunication
19:01between the quarterback and wide receiver.
19:03We see head coach Cam Newton on the field right now,
19:06taking leadership and having a discussion with them.
19:09Looks like it was a bust with regard to a mental error.
19:12And watch Dylan Henry, though, number six, for flow.
19:15Watch him jump this route.
19:17Anticipation.
19:19The high football IQ play to see this route coming.
19:22Watch six there.
19:23He triggers on it right away.
19:25No hesitation.
19:26Uses the hands for the big interception.
19:28Sitting there watching the quarterback's eyes
19:30instead of following that wide receiver up the scene.
19:32That was, I mean, an incredible play for him.
19:34That's textbook safety play.
19:35That's what you do.
19:36You're looking at the quarterback's eyes.
19:37And then when it's there, you've got to trust your eyes.
19:39It's one thing to see it.
19:40It's another to do it.
19:41Malik Aziz, we're running out from the pit
19:43and back on the field for one last play.
19:45Can he throw a touchdown fresh out of the pit?
19:47We'll see.
19:48Ball's got to get in the end zone.
19:49Going to throw it down there one-on-one.
19:51And that one is beautifully broken up by C1N's D.B. Malik high speed.
19:58Oh, my goodness.
19:59What a first half we have had, ladies and gentlemen,
20:01of C1N up 14 to 9 over flow right now
20:05with flow getting the ball to start this second half.
20:08Gentlemen, I'm so excited.
20:10We have good football on the way.
20:12This is the greatest league in the history of the land.
20:17Where else do you have an NFL MVP out here coaching these young bucks?
20:21Screaming at the chills.
20:22I love it.
20:23Exactly.
20:24He's coaching them up.
20:25There's good football right here on the field.
20:27Malik Aziz, the quarterback here for flow,
20:29trying to make something shake here, first and 20,
20:32with an opportunity to go down the field and take the lead here.
20:35We've got a good game cooking right now.
20:38A great game.
20:40Wide open and a great catch.
20:42Solid hands there from Easton Royal who's having a big day for flow.
20:45Yeah.
20:46And for Ziegler, yeah, you're down to score here.
20:48Second half just started.
20:49You get the possession.
20:50You're going to take the momentum with a touchdown right here.
20:52Don't feel like you need to do too much.
20:54That's where a young quarterback goes wrong, I think, pretty often,
20:57forcing these balls.
20:58You feel like you need to be the superhero, win the game for your team.
21:01You have all the star athletes.
21:02You have a guy like Jabari Mack who's a physical specimen.
21:06He's in the same mold as a guy like Jamar Chase, Malik Nabors,
21:08former alumni for Team Flow right here.
21:11Just get them the ball in space like he has been.
21:13And it's also the balance of not trying to do too much,
21:15but also a touchdown gives you the lead.
21:17If a shot is there, take it down the field.
21:19And right here, getting near midfield, I like to see him take a shot.
21:22I love me a shot on a second and short.
21:25It's the most predictable shot down ever, but why not?
21:29Let it cook.
21:30Let it rip.
21:31Mo wants the short passes.
21:33I want the shots on the field.
21:34I want to win the game.
21:36There's a delay in game right there.
21:38They ended up losing a down right there,
21:39but they're going to end up picking up big yardage.
21:43Oh, my goodness.
21:45Oh, my goodness.
21:48I just touched earth, ladies and gentlemen.
21:51Oh, my goodness.
21:54Jaquias Villanueva putting the skates on the defender.
22:00Wow.
22:03Oh, my goodness.
22:06That was disgusting.
22:07That's crazy.
22:09Malachi Ziegler looking for his receiver.
22:12That's Kenny Darby, and he's close.
22:14That's going to be short at the one-yard line.
22:17What a great play on first down.
22:18Flo really out here cooking right now.
22:21This is the drive they needed, right?
22:23And they operated mostly off of Yak.
22:26Yep.
22:27And part of that Yak is the ball placement by Malachi Ziegler,
22:30putting the ball on the upfield shoulder, allowing his receivers.
22:33That juke route we just saw,
22:34that doesn't happen if the ball isn't thrown perfectly by Malachi Ziegler
22:37to give his receiver momentum going up the field.
22:42Let's see what Flo can do right here.
22:45They're going to get something going in the red zone,
22:47one of the toughest areas to score.
22:49He's going to throw that one away, and we've got a third down and goal here
22:52for Flo.
22:54Intended for Jabari Mack.
22:56Also, keep an eye on Kenny Darby.
22:57It's been his favorite target, especially down here in the red zone.
23:00He's a four-star wide receiver commit to LSU.
23:03Got to be able to capitalize here in the red zone.
23:06I like what Cam Newton does in this area on his side whenever he's calling plays.
23:10He runs these tight formations or stacks,
23:12and really just creates a lot of confusion.
23:14It's what we see low pro, the greatest team in OT7 history outside of SFE,
23:18could do a lot.
23:21That one's over the top.
23:22We've got a fourth down, ladies and gentlemen, here at the one-yard line.
23:26Huge play here right now.
23:28For Coach Moore, head coach of Flo, you've got to scheme up Jabari Mack.
23:31He needs a touch here.
23:32Jabari Mack, 6'1", 192, he's one of the top receivers in the country.
23:36Reminds you of Jamar Chase.
23:38On the goal line here, that's where those players win one-on-one.
23:44Haven't seen him get too heavily involved so far,
23:46but he is an unbelievably talented young man.
23:50Malachi, I'd like to move him around the pocket right here, Mo.
23:53Let's get out of the pocket right here.
23:54Let's use Ziegler's strengths.
23:59He's got to throw it somewhere.
24:01He's going to go to the back of the end zone, and that's broken up,
24:03and C1 in gets the turnover on downs after a promising start to the drive by Flo,
24:09and they are back in control of this game.
24:13Yeah, a massive stop.
24:15They move the ball with such ease all the way down.
24:18It's just so difficult once you get on the one-yard line.
24:20There's no space down there.
24:22Cam has been upset about the rankings.
24:24We're now going to go down to Tom with the man responsible for them.
24:27Yeah, man.
24:28We are here with potentially the most loved and most hated person in OT7, Layton.
24:34You've come up with the strictly rankings.
24:35How are you, man?
24:36I'm doing great.
24:37I'm doing great.
24:38But you're definitely right.
24:39The love has been here, but the hate's also been here as well.
24:42One person specifically despises you, wishes you were not here,
24:45and that is Cam Newton, who right before this interview had some choice words for you.
24:50What has been your interaction with Cam Newton ever since becoming his biggest enemy?
24:55You know, honestly, it was probably a mistake on my end,
24:57leaving the former NFL MVP, one of the most legendary seven-on-seven programs,
25:01out of the top ten.
25:03Do you hate him?
25:04I do not hate him.
25:05All love.
25:06All love.
25:07We're boys.
25:08Got it.
25:09Well, you have watched them now play very well so far,
25:11a little up and down this game.
25:12The Coldhearts, who you have number two, they lost earlier.
25:14Are you feeling a little uneasy about your rankings?
25:18I wouldn't say uneasy.
25:19A lot of games left to play on Sunday.
25:21We're going to see who comes out on top tomorrow,
25:24and then we'll go from there for the rankings.
25:26If Cam Newton, you know, wants to have a conversation, are you willing to do that?
25:30Willing to do that anytime, anyplace.
25:33We'll see what happens, fellas.
25:34He might need some security.
25:37And Cam Newton here going to go for the one-point gamble again.
25:42Another one.
25:43Another one.
25:45But, you know, if he successfully gets it, that would be nice.
25:48On the touchdown there was Travis Hunter.
25:51Oh, my goodness, what a catch.
25:53What a ball.
25:54The touchdown catch, and now the catch on the slide.
25:58Travis Hunter, he might not be the tallest, but he does have that genetic makeup.
26:02He is Heisman Trophy winner and future top five draft pick, Travis Hunter's little brother.
26:08Derrick Baker puts this one on.
26:10Oh, my goodness.
26:11But look at the concentration by Travis Hunter,
26:14because you have the defender right in front of you.
26:17Don't know if he's going to get tipped.
26:19Cam Newton is juiced up.
26:21He knows.
26:22That's a college football throw right there.
26:24That was a National Football League throw.
26:26Oh, yeah.
26:27That was incredible.
26:28That was placed only where Travis Hunter could get it.
26:30He's not the biggest target in the red zone, but, oh, my goodness, what a dive.
26:36Oh, my goodness.
26:37We got Hudson Fields in the game now for flow.
26:39We're going to take a look at these strictly rankings.
26:41Low pro, number one, the owners of the longest win streak in OT7 history.
26:44I don't think we'll ever see anything like that.
26:46Saw the Coldhearts at number two, but they just got knocked off.
26:48Layton's rankings look awful.
26:50And we can all agree.
26:52C1N deserves to be somewhere in that top five.
26:54C1N 100% deserves to be in that top ten, at least.
26:58Goodness gracious.
26:59We got to see SFE, the defending champions.
27:01They look great.
27:02Coastline Stars, one of the best defensive teams in all of 7-on-7.
27:05They made the championship last year against SFE.
27:07Raw Miami, Trillium Boys, the rivals also in there.
27:10And we also have DEFCON United rounding out that top ten at the bottom.
27:13Keyshawn Henderson, the number one athlete in the country,
27:16is the head man over there.
27:17That's right.
27:18He's a quarterback superstar.
27:19Cannot wait to see him next week.
27:21Oh, two wide receivers run into each other.
27:23That's tipped up.
27:28Oh, my goodness.
27:29Cam Newton is going crazy over there on the sideline.
27:32They wanted an interception there.
27:34He's having a blast out here, man.
27:36It's good to see Cam back at OT7.
27:37Oh, I love it.
27:38I love it.
27:39In season one, they made it so far.
27:42The championship.
27:43All the way to the finals.
27:44All the way to the championship against SFE where they fell short
27:47on the last play of the game against Malachi Nelson and company.
27:51And now you're seeing just how special this C1N team is.
27:55Extremely well coached.
27:56Fourth down.
27:57They need it right here.
27:58Flow to keep this game alive.
28:00And what a catch right at the line.
28:03They're going to say that that.
28:05I think he's short.
28:06He's right on the line.
28:07They're going to say it's a first down.
28:10And what a clutch pass there by Hudson Fields.
28:12It's not easy coming in cold.
28:14Right?
28:15You haven't been – you don't get into the rhythm of the game.
28:17You haven't really thrown many balls since pregame.
28:19And at this point, it's been, what, like 20, 30 minutes.
28:21Yeah.
28:22And on that fourth down right there, I mean,
28:24that defender was on the receiver's back.
28:26That ball had to be right on his body or it wasn't going to be caught.
28:29And a clutch throw there to keep his team in this game.
28:32Hudson Fields getting his guys involved, making the tough throws.
28:36He's going to go over the top now.
28:38The corner.
28:39He's wide open.
28:40Jabari Mack.
28:41And he's out of bounds.
28:43What a shame.
28:44One of the most beautiful balls we've seen all week.
28:46That was a pretty ball, beautiful concept.
28:49There's Jabari Mack, number four.
28:51Wow.
28:52Right there.
28:53That's a touchdown.
28:54Well, let's make sure he controls it.
28:56That's a touchdown.
28:57That's a touchdown, ladies and gentlemen.
28:59Our replay officials will take a look at that one.
29:02See right here, that call is overturned.
29:04It is a touchdown.
29:05Jabari Mack.
29:08Making his first big impact today, and they're running to the bit.
29:11Just having fun no matter what.
29:13How about the hands by Jabari Mack.
29:15Incredible catch right there.
29:16To have the spatial awareness to put the foot down,
29:19catch it with your fingertips, bring it in,
29:21and also the throw there by Hudson Fields.
29:23Just to let Jabari Mack run underneath that,
29:25that is perfect accuracy and touch by the quarterback.
29:28Jabari did not lose stride right there.
29:31The stop right here on C1N's offense has been moving the ball here.
29:35C1N, Cam Newton, their head coach.
29:38Just take what's in front of you right here.
29:40You can't turn the football over.
29:41You have the lead.
29:42But listen, there's still five minutes left in this game.
29:45You still need some points.
29:46So, push the ball down the field, but cannot turn it over.
29:49Take care of the ball is priority number one.
29:53Here is quarterback Derrick Baker, handpicked straight from under center.
29:57Pressure in his face.
29:59Went outside.
30:00See, that's what I would be doing a whole lot more, you would think.
30:02More pressure since he's under center, especially.
30:05But a good job getting the ball out of his hands before the pressure got to him.
30:09And, guys, this is their money drive.
30:11So they're going for the kill shot right now, essentially.
30:13They're trying to end the game right here,
30:16go up two possessions that's not really come – you can't really come back from that.
30:20I think it's a good decision.
30:21I think it's a great decision.
30:22You don't know if you're going to get the ball back.
30:23Exactly.
30:24You don't know if you're going to get the ball back.
30:25Go ahead, go for this money drive, and that's it.
30:29He scored.
30:30Derrick Baker, all the time in the world, and he ends up getting the completion.
30:35I said all the time in the world.
30:36I gave him pass rushes.
30:37But completion and a first down for Lorenzo Barber.
30:42C1 into scoring territory now.
30:46Yeah, and that's just backyard football by Lorenzo Barber.
30:49He sees his quarterback kind of hitching up.
30:51He needs help.
30:52It's kind of what makes the Kansas City Chiefs play so well.
30:55The combination of chemistry that Travis Kelsey has with quarterback Patrick Mahomes,
30:59they're just on the same page, and they do a lot of kind of ad-lib.
31:02A lot of times the biggest plays are off script, off schedule plays.
31:06And they're going to blitz.
31:07He's going to take off.
31:08And Derrick Baker looks like he maybe got into the end zone.
31:12There is a flag down on the field.
31:15Looking like his head coach Cam Newton.
31:17That's gracious.
31:18I mean, he's built just like Cam Newton.
31:20It's ridiculous.
31:21Can't believe a sophomore in high school can have that much muscle.
31:23He's kind of crazy.
31:25Look at him right here take off after the blitz.
31:29Trying to find out what it was.
31:31It's declined.
31:32It was a holding on the defense.
31:34That score is going to count.
31:36Derrick Baker into the end zone.
31:37That's a touchdown.
31:38That's a touchdown.
31:39On the money drive.
31:40Wow.
31:41And C1 in.
31:42Takes a 32 to score.
31:44What a call by Gleam.
31:46Cam Newton on the money drive, and Derrick Baker showing the athleticism.
31:50He's shown the arm talent all day today.
31:52But to escape the pressure there, get in the end zone, elude the –
31:56evade the blitz, big time play by Derrick Baker.
32:00And this game is not yet over though, two gentlemen.
32:03Now I believe Flo has the ball.
32:06They can get a stop, and then also they have a money drive as well.
32:09So we'll see what they can do.
32:12They're going to take a shot down.
32:13He's wide open.
32:14Oh my goodness.
32:15Did he get it inbounds?
32:17He did.
32:18Touchdown.
32:19And they're riding back.
32:21One big shot.
32:23Hudson fields.
32:24Buckle up.
32:25Hudson fields with an instant jolt of energy for these guys.
32:29All the men's ripping it down the field.
32:32You talk about providing a spark.
32:34That was great.
32:35Got two of the most beautiful balls in back-to-back drives.
32:38See this deep shot right here.
32:40Did he reel this in inbounds?
32:42He's got it.
32:43Catch.
32:44That is inbounds.
32:45Got it.
32:46What a catch.
32:47Doesn't break stride there.
32:49Tracks the ball perfectly in the air.
32:52Confirmed touchdown.
32:53Wow.
32:56Oh my goodness.
32:57Look at these guys jumping in the pit.
32:59What a play.
33:00I mean, that's the way to get right back in the game.
33:02It was like a diner right there, fellas.
33:04But that's the beauty about OT7.
33:06You can bomb a downfield one play.
33:08One play and you're right there.
33:09One play and they're right back in.
33:10There's the momentum.
33:11And sometimes just that one player infuses that new energy that the team needs,
33:15and everyone's feeding off of it.
33:16And now defensively, you need that stop.
33:18Lowe needs this stop desperately.
33:20They need that ball back.
33:22Going to see what he went in to do, though.
33:24Derek Baker has been so calm and composed.
33:26Two minutes on the clock.
33:27Letting this thing take down.
33:28That's right.
33:29Let's see what they can do.
33:30Lowe needs to get the stop,
33:31and they have their money drive available as well.
33:34Going to go ahead and snap this.
33:38Let the clock run down.
33:39Let the clock run all the way down.
33:41Derek Baker using all of that.
33:43He's going to look outside.
33:44Oh, and a drop there for Lorenzo Barber, who's been incredible today.
33:51But Derek Baker has had himself a day.
33:54Nine total touchdowns and 419 total yards today.
33:58What I love about Derek Baker, you very rarely see him get flustered.
34:02There's almost no emotion on his face out there.
34:04He is just calm.
34:05He's processing everything.
34:07He's taking care of the football.
34:09He's had nine touchdowns in two games, by the way, guys.
34:11And this one's not over.
34:12That's insane.
34:13Those legs that showed up last drive,
34:15that really put them in position to win the game as well.
34:17100%.
34:18Going to go ahead and snap this thing.
34:21Someone downfield on the out.
34:22That's Lorenzo Barber again.
34:24And he's going to get out of bounds.
34:25Great ball.
34:26That one's going to take us down to one minute.
34:29They're going to have a third down and short.
34:31You got to think, they pick up that first down this one.
34:34Good night, Irene.
34:35That right there, Moe, NFL-type throw.
34:37You're on the opposite hash.
34:38You throw across the field with velocity.
34:41That's good football.
34:42That's good precision that allows your receiver to catch it cleanly.
34:45Yeah.
34:46I mean, look, you're a former Division I coach.
34:48If you see that at the quarterback position,
34:50besides arm strength and pushing the ball down the field,
34:53you want to see these guys, these opposite hash come back, these deep outs.
34:57These are NFL throws that you need to be making on a down-in
35:00and down-out basis.
35:02And really impressive throw.
35:03Yeah, it's about the accuracy in those tough situations.
35:05It's one thing to be accurate when you're throwing a short crossing route,
35:08but can you throw it hash to sideline
35:10at the velocity on top of it?
35:12Oh, my goodness.
35:14Oh, my goodness.
35:16Oh, my.
35:17There's a flag that just got dropped down on the field.
35:20They're going to say it's a defensive hold.
35:23No way.
35:24Oh, my goodness.
35:26We got to see that one.
35:27On a third and six, a defensive hold.
35:31We got to take a look at that one.
35:33Man, though, for Derek Baker, that is the cardinal sin.
35:36You cannot throw this football.
35:39They say it was a hold right there.
35:47That's Easton Royal playing both sides of the ball.
35:50He's made crazy catches on offense.
35:52And now you see him on defense.
35:54And now.
35:55Derek Baker just got bailed out.
35:57He gets bailed out, and I see the vision.
35:59He's trying to throw it back shoulder, but it needs to be about three feet out.
36:03And it's late.
36:04You can't be late on that throw across the field,
36:07especially in a situation like that.
36:09I'd rather see it take a sack.
36:10It's crazy.
36:11A third down and one right here.
36:13Trying to pick it up.
36:17And a smart decision to just pick it up.
36:19Picks off immediately.
36:20Yeah.
36:25And see one in, puts themselves in prime position to win this game.
36:30And that rush keeps the clock running even smarter.
36:32100%.
36:33Yep.
36:34Rush keeps the clock running.
36:35Getting that ball in the middle of the field.
36:36See one in.
36:37Looks like they're going to take this one home.
36:40That was a crazy play, though.
36:41They had a central defense.
36:42Critical play right there.
36:43Very critical play right there.
36:45Going to go back.
36:46Backside.
36:47Wow.
36:48Taking a shot there.
36:49It's crazy.
36:50Look, you got one on one.
36:51Cam's over there smiling.
36:53Cam said, I'll do it again.
36:54I'll do it again.
36:56That's what I like from Cam, dude.
36:58He said, you want me to do it again?
36:59I'll do it again.
37:00They're not scared.
37:02Oh, my goodness.
37:03He knows his guys, though, too.
37:04Ryan Mosley, he's this big body wide receiver for C1.
37:07And he has made contested catches all day long.
37:09They're not afraid to throw it up to him.
37:11Guys, think about it.
37:12This is why we love 027, how these situations in the game force the quarterbacks
37:16to think about stop the clock.
37:18But you also got to think about the one-point gambles, the money drives,
37:22that can change the game with a couple plays.
37:24And it forces the coaches and the quarterbacks to think about these things
37:27all the time.
37:30At this point, just put the ball in play and let this clock strike out.
37:35Man, what a great game this was.
37:37Back and forth.
37:38And that's going to do it for this one.
37:40C1 in, moves to 2-0 to start their season flow.
37:45It's 0-2.
37:47What an incredible performance by Cam Newton's team.
37:51Unbelievable effort there from Jerick Baker.
37:53What's up, baby?
37:54Is Cam Newton coach of the year?
37:55He might be coach of the year.
37:57He might be coach of the year right now.
38:00He's a great football coach.
38:02I don't get how they're not ranked late.
38:04I don't get it.
38:05I don't get how they're not ranked.
38:06Are the Dallas Cowboys watching this?
38:08I would hire him right now.
38:10He is called unbelievable game.
38:12And honestly, I think C1 in deserves to be ranked.
38:14We might need some adjustments on Monday.
