00:00It's been a big year so far for the Fasig-Tipton Mid-Atlantic sale with more than a few high
00:08profile graduates, including Kentucky Derby winner, Mage.
00:12The sales grounds were busy Sunday morning and we asked consignors to talk to us about
00:16the activity on the grounds and to show us a few of their favorite horses selling that
00:20are by first crop sires.
00:24We have an Omaha Beech at a two dozen roses.
00:26It's a great female family, very straightforward horse.
00:29She's been a very easy one to get ready for the sale.
00:33Audible Filly is a homebred of Tammy Bobo's and again has a great family, half to two
00:38stake horses out of a young mare.
00:41And the best Audible we've been around, we've had a few nice ones and I think she's a very
00:45nice filly.
00:46When you go right on with, she's straightforward, very good mind and does everything you want
00:50her to do.
00:52We have Hitton 594, I had to double check, 594.
00:56He's a Maximus Mischief colt that we brought here to Maryland and he has been outstanding
01:01since we've had him at the farm.
01:04We had him there since September, appointed him for this sale and he has been outstanding
01:11since we have had him.
01:12He wants to be forward, he wants to be precocious.
01:15Maximus Mischief is a horse that can get you all of those things.
01:20She is fast and honest, smart, beautiful, that's good.
01:28She's ready to go on.
01:29I've seen her running early, we've had quite a few Mitole fillies and she obviously is
01:35one of the fillies that I thought was on the top of the list all year long.
01:39Kip number 285 is a filly by a freshman stallion, Solamini.
01:44She's just a real stretchy, balanced filly with a nice loose walk, very good to action
01:50and it seems like she can get around the ground so we're hoping she'll do well for us here
01:54at the basic 15 year old sale.
01:58So 379 is a vino rustler filly, obviously his first crop of two year olds and she had
02:04a brilliant work here on the second day of the breed show and went 10 and 1 with a 34
02:12Gallop out and she's a beautiful, physical horse with a lot of class, a lot of size,
02:19substance, depth.
02:20We really think a lot of her and we think she's got a bright future on the race track.
02:28The activity here in Maryland, well first of all we have great weather, puts everybody
02:32in a good mood, it's festive, you know we had the Preakness yesterday, it's starting
02:37to get crowded here now.
02:40Strong at the top and struggling everywhere else, pretty much what it's been for a while
02:44now.
02:45We kind of know what to expect going in anymore, that they want good horses and they're not
02:52really looking for a Wednesday afternoon horse, they're looking for a Saturday afternoon.
02:57We're optimistic about the sale, I think the right ones are going to do well and again
03:02there seems like a good base and middle market here too, we'll see, time will tell, we'll
03:07know more after tomorrow.
