00:00Are you looking for a summer vacation?
00:03What if we travel around the world?
00:06Don't panic, your pockets won't be empty.
00:10There are still business inspirations and ideas,
00:14so let's go on a vacation!
00:20I'll answer your tour today.
00:22I'll take you to different tourist destinations around the world.
00:27Do you want a horn?
00:29And the best part is that you can travel around the world
00:32for only Php 230.
00:35For real!
00:37All the famous international destinations
00:40are located in one place,
00:42here in Cavite.
00:45The pilot and flight attendant who brought us here
00:49are Eric and his wife Anna,
00:52who is a Russian.
00:55It started as a private swimming pool
01:00and we built 8 rooms for the family.
01:05But before their business took off,
01:07they also started from the bottom.
01:09Eric worked as a waiter in a restaurant in America.
01:13That's where he met Anna, a Russian student
01:16who wanted to have a work experience
01:19and to speak English fluently.
01:22It wasn't easy for them to get together
01:24and they faced a lot of challenges.
01:27We both business graduate,
01:29so we both had a dream to build a business.
01:32We need to shift from being employee to employer,
01:35but that's not an easy shift,
01:37especially you need the capital,
01:39you need to know how to run it.
01:41So we start this real estate in America,
01:44but unfortunately, it didn't work out.
01:47That's the time, a major recession.
01:51Because of the lack of income in America,
01:53the couple decided to just go home.
01:56When we moved here in the Philippines,
01:58we were really wiped out.
02:00Because for one year, I didn't get any work
02:03or I didn't get any close deals in real estate.
02:06And Anna, she's also like that.
02:08In her modeling career, she also didn't get anything.
02:11Eric and Anna tried the real estate business in the Philippines,
02:15but it also closed.
02:17This didn't stop the couple from building their dream.
02:20Back then, they thought of building a small resort
02:23from their old business.
02:26Until they found partners,
02:28and they raised several millions to level up their resort.
02:33They saw that there are people coming,
02:36they saw what Anna and I were doing,
02:39how to market this resort.
02:42And that's when they had the openness
02:46that, okay, let's put more attraction here in Torres Farms.
02:50They don't think that this can be big.
02:52But Eric and I, we're the same.
02:55We just really go through the hardship and we learn.
02:58Php 230 for adults,
03:00while Php 160 for kids
03:03is the entrance fee for Eric and Anna's farm and resort,
03:06where they can tour their international destinations.
03:12America, France, Italy.
03:16And wherever else in the world.
03:24So that's why I chose Torres Farms as my first timer
03:27because I saw it on social media.
03:30It relieves stress and makes me sleepy at night.
03:36It's delicious.
03:37We came from Nueva Ecija
03:39because we saw on Facebook posts
03:41that Torres Farms is beautiful.
03:44So my friends and I came here and we saw it.
03:51If before it was hard to introduce Eric and Anna's resort,
03:54now it's considered the happiest place in Cavite.
04:04We're on our way to another summer beach around the world.
04:07Is there a better way to welcome the summer
04:10besides going to the beach?
04:13Are you really going to the beach?
04:15Let's go to La Union.
04:17In the town of Bacnotan,
04:18you can find the Boho Asian Theme Beach House.
04:22Peg is all over the world while taking a rest.
04:26Welcome to the Reef House.
04:28All of this started in the dream of May, who has a house.
04:34Her love for abubot and bubutingting
04:37paved the way for her dream business.
04:39Because this is a beach house,
04:41she designed it herself.
04:43From the Boho Sunset Lounge,
04:45which is a favorite place for guests,
04:47infinity pool,
04:49cafe,
04:50and the inside of this villa.
04:54Hello, Ms. May.
04:56Welcome to the Reef House.
04:59As soon as you enter, you'll notice this wall.
05:03These baskets came from different countries.
05:05Really?
05:06These are my collections.
05:07Why is this particular to Boho?
05:11Because when you say Boho,
05:13it's a free spirit.
05:14It's unconventional.
05:16It's a type of art where you can combine
05:19all the colors and shapes.
05:23And it's natural.
05:24Yes, it's natural.
05:28Every corner of the villa looks aesthetic.
05:32They travel a lot.
05:34Where are these from?
05:35From Africa, ma'am.
05:37Africa?
05:38So you're going to tour around the world here.
05:40She has a lot of collections.
05:42This is ours, right?
05:43Yes, ma'am.
05:44This is from Bodrum, Turkey.
05:47Oh, I see.
05:48It's from India.
05:49From India?
05:50Yes.
05:51A little piece of everything.
05:52From all the places you go to.
05:55This villa has five rooms.
05:56Perfect for family gathering
05:59and other gatherings.
06:01So this is the whole place?
06:05It's exclusive?
06:06Yes, ma'am.
06:07What's the maximum?
06:08The maximum is sometimes 40.
06:1140?
06:12If it's a team building or a reunion.
06:14It's nice that it's exclusive.
06:16We promote family gatherings here in the reef house.
06:21So they all stay in one roof.
06:23The bonding is more frequent.
06:25And there are a lot of areas where you can bond.
06:28Because each corner of this beach house is IG-worthy,
06:32it's picture-perfect.
06:35Before she became a businesswoman,
06:36she was a registered nursemaid.
06:38While her husband went abroad
06:40to take care of their family.
06:44From the time I passed my board exam,
06:48I raised the kids.
06:50Because when the husband goes to FW,
06:52he has to stand by for the kids in their studies.
06:57When the kids grew up,
06:59May decided to look for a new adventure.
07:02To build her dream business.
07:05For me, this is a form of women empowerment.
07:09Because I was depressed.
07:11I thought there's no one else I can grow up with.
07:15So I need to empower myself.
07:19Sacrifices for the people of OFW
07:22are important to the family.
07:23That's why May made sure
07:25that her husband's sacrifice and hard work
07:27will not go to waste in other countries.
07:31Funding, saving.
07:34Because there are a lot of OFW wives
07:38who don't know where to put their investments.
07:52If you can't go around the world,
07:55just stay here for now.
07:56Because just like business,
07:58you don't have to go far to...
