Fried Pork – Crispy, Flavorful, and Irresistible

Fried pork is a simple yet delicious dish that can be prepared in various ways, such as crispy fried pork, fish sauce fried pork, or lemongrass chili fried pork.
Ingredients:

300g pork (belly or ham)
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp seasoning powder
1 tbsp fish sauce
1/2 tsp minced garlic
1/2 tsp minced chili (optional)
1 tsp sugar
1 tbsp crispy frying flour (optional, for extra crispiness)
Cooking oil

Instructions:

Prepare the pork:
Wash the pork and cut it into bite-sized pieces.
Marinate with salt, pepper, seasoning powder, fish sauce, garlic, chili, and sugar for 15-20 minutes.

Fry the pork:
Heat oil in a pan. If you want it extra crispy, coat the pork with frying flour before cooking.
Fry the pork over medium heat until golden brown on both sides.
Remove and drain excess oil.

Serve:
Arrange on a plate and optionally sprinkle with some black pepper or chopped scallions.
Serve with steamed rice, fresh vegetables, and sweet-sour fish sauce for dipping.

Tips:

✔ Pork belly makes the dish crispier and juicier.
✔ Adding minced lemongrass enhances the aroma.
✔ For a spicier version, increase the chili or add chili powder.
