00:00And at this point, we will discuss the update on the programs of the current administration here in Mr. President On The Go.
00:22First of all, my fellow countrymen, President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. visited CareerCon 2025, one of the largest job fairs in the country this year.
00:33As the administration continues its efforts to give more Filipinos jobs,
00:38President Marcos, Jr. led the JobStreet CareerCon Creating Connections, or JCCC, held in Pasay City.
00:48The purpose of this activity is to connect more than 15,000 job candidates in more than 100 hiring companies from different industries.
00:58President Marcos, Jr. also visited the booths of participating employers.
01:04The Department of Labor and Employment, National Capital Region, or DoLE-NCR, Pasay City's Public Employment Service Office, or PESO, and the DoLE Bureau of Local Employment are also included in this program.
01:17According to DoLE, many of the job openings are from IT, hotel and restaurant, healthcare industries that have opportunities both inside and outside of our country.
01:27The JobExpo is also a part of the Free Career Conference, where experts from different companies come together to share their knowledge about workforce trends, workplace challenges, and practical tips for job applicants.
01:41Meanwhile, DoLE-NCR has a one-stop shop to assist job seekers to meet their requirements.
01:50The participating agencies include the SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-ibig Fund, NBI, TESDA, Philippines 50604, and Pocketprocket Advertising Incorporated.
