00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. formally signed the more than 6 trillion Pesos National Budget for 2025.

00:07Again, the priority of the administration is to take care of the sector of education.

00:12The details in the national news of Bian Manalo of PTV Manila.

00:18The continuation of the good start of the administration,

00:22that is what President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. promised

00:26after he passed the 2025 National Budget.

00:31From the original 6.353 trillion Pesos Proposal Budget,

00:36it was increased to 26 billion Pesos,

00:39which became 6.326 trillion Pesos

00:42from the National Expenditure Program of the Administration.

00:46The education sector is still leading in passing the biggest fund,

00:51which has 1.053 trillion Pesos,

00:53followed by the Department of Public Works and Highways or DPWH,

00:57which has 1.034 trillion Pesos.

01:00The health sector, DSWD, DALG, Department of Agriculture, DOTR, Judiciary, DOLE and Department of Justice are also priorities in the 2025 National Budget.

01:12In his statement, President Marcos Jr. confirmed that he approved the fund after he vetoed the 194 billion Pesos

01:21that are important line items that are not in line with the Administration's agenda for the next year.

01:27Some line items of DPWH and unprogrammed funds reached 300% were also vetoed.

01:34Meanwhile, the President decided to implement under the Conditional Implementation

01:40the assistance in the Post-Profit Program or ACAP of the DSWD.

01:43It was not called for the programs to be implemented in our poor countrymen,

01:50but it needs to be secure and the use of funds must be correct.

01:55To ensure that government assistance is not merely a provisional solution to a persistent issue,

02:01we are compelled to subject the implementation of the Ayuda sa Kapus ng Kita Program or ACAP

02:08to the convergence efforts of the DSWD, DOLE and DEDA.

02:13This way, we ensure that its implementation will be strategic,

02:19leading to the long-term improvement of the lives of qualified beneficiaries

02:24while guarding against misuse and duplication and fragmented benefits.

02:30The President's addition to the 2025 National Budget is scheduled for 10 days.

02:37It is necessary to review and study the proposed bill before it is passed.

02:43President Marcos Jr. himself is leading the assessment of the proposed 2025 National Budget

02:49along with several heads of concerned agencies.
