00:00So, where's the AFC playoff picture?
00:02And I'll tie in anything we hadn't talked about here.
00:05So, the Bengals, of course, Saturday beat the Broncos.
00:07That was a wild game, which, of course,
00:09kept the Bengals alive.
00:11That also kept the Colts and Miami alive,
00:13but the Colts screwed that up, as we just talked about,
00:15so they're finished now.
00:16Miami wins in Cleveland with no two-a,
00:18so they're still in the mix.
00:20Everyone is clinched except the final spot.
00:23Basically, the scenario is, Joe,
00:26Broncos win against the Chiefs, they get it.
00:28If Broncos lose, Miami is next in the door.
00:32If they beat the Jets, they would get it.
00:34Broncos and Miami lose, the Bengals beat the Steelers,
00:38they would get it.
00:40If all three of them lose, Joe,
00:42the Broncos would hold the card
00:44and would stay where they are.
00:47Do you expect it to be the Broncos?
00:49I would guess, considering it's going to be
00:51a Carson Wentz-led Kansas City Chief attack
00:56for that game this week.
00:58Yeah, listen, if I'm Denver,
01:00the only thing I want is I want to be able
01:02to control my own destiny, right?
01:04And you can do that still, Denver,
01:06and you have a chance to do it
01:08against the backups of the Kansas City Chiefs.
01:11So Denver is sitting in the spot you want to be in,
01:16as opposed to Miami, of course, and Cincinnati,
01:18who the only thing they really control
01:20is just beat the teams you have to play
01:22and then hope that somebody else doesn't handle business.
01:27So I would much rather be Denver,
01:30and that's why I thought Denver always knew
01:32in the back of their head,
01:34once Kansas City beat Pittsburgh on Christmas,
01:37you had to win one of the next two games and you were in.
01:40So even if you couldn't get it done this week
01:42against Cincinnati, the chances are you'd be at home
01:46playing Kansas City's backup.
01:47So still got to go out and get it done.
01:50You still got a rookie quarterback,
01:51but I do think the line is eight and a half.
01:55Yeah, it's probably going to be double digits.
02:00Yeah, you know, I've seen some weird things
02:04in these last weeks of these regular seasons.
02:07You've seen some very strange things.
02:09Yep.
02:10And I don't know if I completely trust Denver
02:15to win that game.
02:16I know I definitely don't trust them
02:20to lay eight and a half in that game.
02:22That I do know.
02:23That's Chiefs for me.
02:26Because when you're as good a team as the Chiefs is, Joe,
02:28and I know that their main component
02:31isn't going to be out there,
02:33that is a winning team from the first guy
02:37to the 55th, 54th, 53rd, 52nd guy.
02:41Everyone on that team has that winning feeling
02:44and they're going to get a chance to go in there
02:46and show that they can do it too.
02:48I'd be very nervous.
02:49If I would want, if it was anyone else, Joe,
02:53I'd say probably not a problem.
02:55I think the Chiefs makes it scary for Denver in that game.
02:59Now Cincinnati's going to play Saturday night in Pittsburgh.
03:03Me and Pharrell were talking about this.
03:04He has to think he's going to the game.
03:06And I said, I hope you got an early enough flight
03:08on Saturday because they might move that game to Saturday.
03:10And sure enough, they did.
03:12It's the late game.
03:13So we won't have an issue.
03:14The Bengals are favored one and a half in Pittsburgh
03:17on Saturday night.
03:18And I know the Bengals are the team everyone wants in,
03:21but I think that the path is just a little too hard, Joe,
03:24because I'm not sure they're going to get both to happen.
03:28Where Denver and Miami,
03:30that seems like a lot to bite off and chew.
03:34And also a pretty big game for Pittsburgh.
03:37If they have any intentions of actually getting a home game
03:41and winning the AFC North here, because if they,
03:45and who wants to go into the playoffs losing four in a row?
03:49Cause that's what's a tap here for the Steelers.
03:52And it's not going to be a walk in the park.
03:54So, you know, this is a huge game for both of these teams,
03:59but once again, the Bengals,
04:02you got to win this game and then you got to hope.
04:04But if they don't win and the Steelers win, well then,
04:08you know, it's going to make the Denver game even less juicy,
04:12so to speak here when they have to take them on on Sunday.
04:17And the Steelers may know their fate per se
04:20for the division.
04:21Obviously the Ravens are playing that game
04:23before them Saturday at 430.
04:25Ravens win, they'll have the North.
04:27I just can't see the Ravens losing this game to Cleveland.
04:31They already lost to them once this year.
04:32I find it hard to believe they'd lose to them again.
04:34But even if they aren't for the division, Joe,
04:37I think there's still a very big difference for Pittsburgh
04:40going to Houston or going to Baltimore.
04:44I think that there's a big difference
04:46in those two assignments on wildcard weekend.
04:49So I think that there's still going to be a lot to play for
04:53on the Steeler side of things
04:54on Saturday night against the Bengals.
04:56NFC is a lot easier, Joe, for me to give you quickly.
04:59That's because everybody is in except the winner of the South.
05:04South is simple.
05:05Bucks win against New Orleans on Sunday, they are win.
05:09If they lose, opens the door for Atlanta,
05:12who's playing Carolina.
05:13Everyone else is in.
05:14I do think there is still some seeding things here, Joe.
05:17Obviously, we know Lions, Vikings, that can change.
05:20I think that Washington can actually jump Green Bay
05:24if they win and the Packers lose,
05:26but the Packers are playing the Bears.
05:27So, you know, we know how that's going to go, Joe.
05:31I mean, they're not losing to the Bears.
05:35They're not losing to the Bears.
05:37Malik Willis will beat the Bears if they played him this week.
05:41Last thing for you here, here's the draft order right now.
05:45Top 10.
05:46There it is.
05:47New England is at the top.
05:49Tennessee, Cleveland, Giants.
05:51So the Giants fall from one to four
05:53with their loss yesterday.
05:54The Raiders tumbled all the way down to eight
05:57by winning again.
05:59The Jets are actually up to, what is that?
06:00They're up to seven now, Joe, the Giants.
06:03They're creeping up the board here a little bit.
06:06You gotta love it.
06:07Jets could be as high as what, five or six?
06:11And boy, that would be fantastic for Rex.
06:14I will, I'll say this.
06:16It's going to be interesting
06:17because I don't see New England,
06:20even with backups for Buffalo,
06:22I don't see New England winning that game.
06:24And then the big question is, all right,
06:26if you do get the number one draft pick,
06:28is Gerard Mayo the coach next year, if that's even the case?
06:33If a Mike Vrabel wants to come back,
06:36are you picking for Vrabel as the head coach or Gerard Mayo?
06:40And it's certainly not going to be a quarterback though,
06:42I can tell you that.
06:45Well, here's how interested New England is
06:46in winning this game against Buffalo.
06:48Mayo already said this morning
06:49that they might not play Drake May
06:51because they don't want to risk
06:52any long-term injury with him.
06:55So that's taking a page out of the Cleveland book
06:58with DTR the last few weeks.
06:59That's precisely what New England's doing there.
