00:00Yeah, awful start for the Jaguars, you know, they ended last year losing their last five
00:05games missing out on the playoffs.
00:07This was after a year they were supposed to be the one of the favorites, right?
00:10Remember two years ago, they went, won a playoff game, lost a close game to Kansas City in
00:15the divisional round.
00:16Now they look like this guy's about to get chopped.
00:19Here's Peterson.
00:20Things need to change fast in Jacksonville.
00:23It's not for lack of effort or trying and all of that.
00:25I just think that sometimes you just have to get out of your own way, right?
00:31And I just keep digging ourselves in a hole early and, and can't seem to dig our way out
00:40of it.
00:41You know, especially, you know, as one sided as this game was today, do you think he's
00:45in trouble in Jacksonville or is he going to get away with this?
00:51Well, the thing is, is that that owner, you know, he wants like he, he wants to win badly.
01:00He's talked, he's got a very itchy finger, but he also knows like he can't keep changing
01:06coaches.
01:07Like remember, it was such a disaster he had with Urban Meyer that having Peterson who's
01:12won a Superbowl in his building is probably not someone that he wants to chase out fairly
01:17quickly.
01:18Now, I understand last year ended poorly and this year has started poorly.
01:24If it continues, sure.
01:26Cause he spent a lot of money, right, Sky?
01:28Like this is not like they added some high priced free agent talent on both sides of
01:33the ball.
01:34They've done that the last few years.
01:35They gave their quarterback a lot of money that he probably hadn't earned.
01:40And he stinks too.
01:41I'm sorry.
01:42I'm tired.
01:44And we were all duped, right?
01:45We thought this was no doubt about it.
01:47When he left Clemson, he was going to be the next big star in the NFL.
01:52Can't miss Peyton Manning, Andrew Luck, that type of can't miss player.
01:56It's just not the case.
01:57He's 0-8 in his last eight starts.
02:00One and seven against the spread too, so you can't even bet on the guy, but he's lost eight
02:03starts in a row.
02:05We've talked about in the off season when they gave him all that money that they probably
02:09like, I don't know why they were in such a rush to pay him so fast, but I just haven't
02:14seen it yet, Sky.
02:15I haven't seen the greatness in this guy.
02:17Where is it?
02:18Yeah, I mean, his numbers stink.
02:21He's 21 at 38, 178 yards, a horrible average 4.7.
02:27He gets picked off, he gets sacked, his passes are bad.
02:32It's unbelievable.
02:33He's turned into a lousy quarterback.
02:35That's just all there is to it.
02:37The pick he threw to Hamlin last night, and that was DeMar Hamlin's first ever career
02:42interception.
02:43That happened in that game too.
02:44There was nobody near him, Scottie.
02:46I mean, Lawrence, it's not like he was being pressured and he was in a rush to throw the
02:50ball away.
02:52He was standing in a clean pocket and just sailed the ball over the receiver's head to
02:57Hamlin.
02:58Like, it was an awful throw, and they got a lot of work to do down there, that's for
03:02sure, especially with him.
03:03Imagine.
03:04Imagine the money they spent on him.
03:06They gave him all this money and he's not worth it.
03:09He plays like a backup.
03:11He's not like a star player.
03:13It was kind of a flash in the pan.
03:16He was good for a brief minute or two, and then he's been terrible ever since.
03:20I mean, he is awful right now.
03:23He can't win.
03:24He can't get out of his own way.
03:26Like Peterson said, I think a lot of it starts with him.
03:30I mean, he's so undependable now as their quarterback, you have to start wondering what
03:35they're going to do.
03:36Are they going to keep rolling him out there to lose?
03:40Five years, $275 million.
03:42I wanted to make sure I had the deal that they gave him in the offseason.
03:47They go to Houston next week too, Scotty.
03:49So division game on the road with Houston coming off, getting beat up by the Vikings
03:55in Minnesota.
03:57That's not a good scene for them coming up.
04:01Not a good scene.
04:02That spells doom.
04:03They're going to go lose to them.
04:04Another loss.
04:05It spells doom.
04:06Indeed, it does.
04:07So God bless and good luck to the Jaguars.
04:12Let's start to turn the page towards this week.
04:15It moves fast.
04:16We're on to week four in the NFL.
04:20Let's go.
04:21And it will start on Thursday night.
04:22Back at MetLife.
04:23We were at MetLife last Thursday night to start week three for the Jets and the Patriots.
04:28Well, MetLife will again have a Thursday night game, this time with the Giants and the Cowboys
04:33getting together.
04:35And the Giants are coming off their first win of the season in Cleveland.
04:38Dallas losing two in a row at home.
04:41Not looking good in either.
04:42I told you yesterday, like, you know, Dable was talking up Daniel Jones.
04:45There's only one reason Daniel Jones has been better this year and has started throwing
04:50touchdown passes.
04:51It's because of Malik Nabors, and here's Dable talking up Nabors instead of Jones.
04:56I have a lot of confidence in him, so, you know, I think we target him a fair amount.
05:03But I think he's earned that, you know, he's earned the right to have those opportunities.
05:08And look, one game, it might, I don't know what he's had, 30 the past two weeks, I think,
05:12but there'll be adjustments throughout a game where things are happening and, you know,
05:19everybody's going to have to be dialed in.
05:20But he's, his mindset, he's a competitive young man that, he's just a football player.
05:27Just give him the ball.
05:29He's their only player.
05:30He's the stud of the team, throw him the ball.
05:33Good things happen.
05:35And he's making Jones look good again, and he's shown those flashes that he can do it
05:41if he has the right talent around him.
05:43This guy can make plays, and they've looked a lot better.
05:46Even when they lost, they had three tutties, then they win with three tutties.
05:51You start scoring touchdowns, you win games, and he's the reason they're winning.
05:55They finally got one, at least, and, you know, you get that off your back, and anything's
06:00possible.
06:01I think the game is huge because I think most people think that the Cowboys are better than
06:05they are.
06:06I'm not so sure.
06:08The Cowboys seem overrated.
06:09I mean, they keep losing, too.
06:12So it's not like, you know, you saw what happened to them, you know, they got blown out in one
06:17game at home, and they haven't done that in, you know, ages, in regular season games.
06:22Playoff games, they got blown out.
06:24But you're seeing, you know, teams like this Dallas team overrated, and I think the Giants
06:32are kind of on par with them, to be honest.
06:34I think they're in the same boat.
06:36Both of them are the same.
06:39Both of them are the same so far.
06:40Now, look, last year, the Cowboys kind of, you know, they played bully with the Giants
06:45last year.
06:46They beat them, of course, 40 to nothing in the opening week game.
06:49They beat them 49-17 the second time that they played them last year.
06:54So they scored 89 points on them in two games.
06:57Giants obviously have to find a way to stop the Cowboy offense, which they have not been
07:01able to do the last couple of years.
07:03I did hear Jerry this morning, you know how Jerry is, because he never can stay away from
07:07anyone.
07:08He does that local radio spot on Tuesday morning, Scottie.
07:12He said it's fair for the Cowboy fans to blame him for the team's shortcomings.
07:18Well, I hope so, because you're not just the owner.
07:21You're the general manager, too.
07:23Remember that?
07:24He's the GM, too.
07:25So yes, he is to blame for their shortcomings.
07:29He's the only one that matters.
07:30He's the only one that talks.
07:32He's the only one that does press conferences.
07:35I guess you see Dak a little bit, but it's Jerry's world, and that's why they call it
07:40Jerry's world.
07:41The bottom line is, they stink.
07:44They're no better than the Giants, and they blame him anyway, because he's front and center.
07:49No one else talks.
07:51No one else talks.
07:52Five and a half is where we're sitting right now for Thursday Night Football at MetLife.
07:58Forty-five and a half is the total.
08:01I gotta tell you, I think it sounds like you're leaning this way, too.
08:06I think the Giants at home on a short week, I know the Cowboys, they haven't been able
08:10to stop in the last couple years.
08:12I think they might hang around in this game, Scottie.
08:14I think the Giants might make this a game on Thursday.
08:16Why are they favored by that much?
08:18Explain that to me, the way they've looked.
08:21I think because this comes down to, you take the rosters, and Dallas is so much better,
08:27and they have the better quarterback, and they have—they crushed them both games last
08:32year.
08:33I think that, you know, you put all those ingredients in the pot, and that's why they're
08:37five and a half point favorites.
08:38But they didn't see neighbors last year.
08:42They gotta find a way to—they can get a couple stops.
08:46That's what'll keep them in this game, because they couldn't stop them last year.
08:48So what's the deal, Mike?
08:49Does Purdy have a back problem all of a sudden?
08:53What's going on out there?
08:55They've got lots of problems out there, right?
08:57I feel like every week now, they're just stacking more ailments on the pile for the San Francisco
09:0349ers.
09:04What a shame.
09:05I was gonna—I knew you were gonna say that.
09:06What a shame.
09:07We already know about some of their skilled position players, but now their quarterback,
09:11Brock Purdy, day-to-day with back soreness.
09:15I'm not sure when he got that, because he looked—I thought he looked pretty good on
09:19Sunday.
09:20He sure wasn't the reason why they lost that game to the Rams.
09:22But back soreness for Purdy, and to keep this going, defensive tackle Javon Hargrave, one
09:28of their better interior defenders, partially torn tricep, he's done for the regular season.
09:34And in the—this doesn't sound very good either—department for Christian McCaffery,
09:40he's gonna see a specialist in Germany.
09:43That's right, Germany.
09:44He's going to Europe to see a specialist for his Achilles tendonitis.
09:49Now, again, what happened here, Scotty?
09:53He got this injury in training camp in early August.
09:57Everyone said he was fine.
09:58He was gonna play the first game.
10:00Magically, an hour before the game, he was out and in play, and now he's flying to Germany
10:07to see a specialist for it three weeks later.
10:10This sounds like a guy who we're not gonna see a lot of this year.
10:13I mean, originally I thought it was his calf, and now it's like his Achilles, and he's going
10:21to Germany to get it fixed?
10:24I don't understand.
10:25It has to be worse than everybody thought it was originally.
10:29I never thought it was this bad, and I can't wait to see what happens.
10:34I don't understand who he's going to see.
10:36I don't know the whole deal.
10:38But it doesn't sound like he's playing football anytime soon with this problem.
10:41When you're losing a guy like Hargrave, now your quarterback's got to tweak back.
10:46It's one thing after the next with this team, and injuries will kill any football team.
10:51I don't care how good you are.
10:53Everyone thinks they're automatic to go to the Super Bowl every year, and the reality
10:58is you can't do it if you have a bunch of guys banged up.
11:01You got to stay relatively healthy to get through the playoffs.
11:06Sometimes teams go the furthest just because they have health, and they're not all banged
11:10up with injuries.
11:11They have too many early season injuries for my blood.
11:15It's a problem.
11:16Their star players are all dropping like flies.
11:19Yep, and they've gotten out to now a 1-2 start after a couple of losses on the road.
11:26Now they do go home this week, and they have the Patriots coming across country, so we
11:31know the deal with the Pats.
11:32Isn't that nice?
11:33They won the first week, lost it over time, and then got smashed by the Jets on Thursday
11:38night.
11:39They take the long trip to San Francisco, and now they're down to minus 10, and I'm
11:44going to give you some numbers.
11:45Big spreads.
11:46They've been good for the team's getting.
11:49Let's just put it that way, Scotty.
11:50Through the first three weeks of the season, 39 and a half is the total.
11:56Even with all these ailments, can they cover this 10 points against the Patriots on Sunday?
12:01Well, I mean, think of the Rams game, right?
12:04They literally were up, what, by 14 in the fourth quarter, and they lost.
12:11So they can't hold a lead.
12:13They're not playing well, but then they get the convenience of playing this team.
12:18They're awful.
12:19They showed their true side, I thought, on Sunday when they couldn't score.
12:24Everyone thought, you thought, a lot of people thought that they weren't going to win.
12:29That four and a half total was under for a lot of sharps.
12:33They didn't think they were going to win games at all, and that was the first time we saw
12:36them really look awful and not do anything in a game.
12:40So I think San Francisco's lucky that they're playing them.
12:43This is an easy game for them, and I think they'll still crush this team.
12:47I don't think the Patriots are good, and I think the Niners can get past them.
12:51They should have got past the Rams, but they blew it.
12:54I mean, they just let Stafford come back and steal that game.
12:58They had no business winning that game, and I think a lot of it is because of their
13:02injuries.
13:03They got so many guys banged up, and, you know, the Rams did too, but nobody made excuses.
13:09They just, you know, next man up, everybody did their job, and they somehow pulled it
13:13off.
13:14That was a horrible loss for them.
13:16They have to win this game.
13:17I think they'll take it out on the Pats.
13:21But one thing, and I agree with you, I think they'll probably take it out on the Pats too,
13:25and I think Purdy's going to play.
13:26It sounds like this isn't that serious of a thing, but they've had some really good
13:32backup quarterback situations the last few years.
13:35You know, they had Sam Darnold last year, who was able to slide in when Purdy was hurt.
13:39You know, they've had Jimmy G. They've had Purdy before.
13:42He was a starter.
13:43You know, Brandon Allen is the backup this year for Brock Purdy, so precisely.
13:51So a little bit of not exactly the same realm of backup as they've had there, but I think
13:57he's going to go, and if he goes, I think they'll cover the number.
14:00That's for sure.
14:01Next, we played Pierce yesterday talking about business decisions, the Raiders, all of these
14:07things.
14:08Now, he said yesterday, Scotty, that they were going to evaluate the quarterback position,
14:12maybe make a change.
14:14All of the insiders and people who seem to know around the league the past 24 hours have
14:20said they are going to stick with Gardner Minshew this week for their game against Cleveland.
14:25Here's Pierce, though, saying yesterday he does not regret calling out his team whatsoever,
14:30and there still is going to be changes made.
14:31APF, after the game, you talked about the Raiders having to make business decisions.
14:35Have you made any of those yet?
14:37No, we haven't.
14:38No, we haven't.
14:39Got to get with the players first.
14:40Well, I would say a lot was made of that comment, you know, national media-wise this morning.
14:46I guess if you think about it, are you happy that you pointed it out?
14:51I don't bite my tongue.
14:54I don't bite my tongue.
14:55All right.
14:56You know, when it comes to making business decisions on the coaching staff's part, is
15:02that something where it's line-up changes, is it potentially guys?
15:06Whatever helps the Raiders win.
15:07Right now, that performance is not going to help any team win, let alone the Raiders.
15:11Yeah, and they're not winning, and you're coaching them.
15:14So, it sounds like this week he's blaming Minshew.
15:19I don't think he's bad.
15:20I don't think that's a bad quarterback.
15:22I think they have very limited options offensively.
15:26You know, they got Adams, right?
15:29And then what else do they have?
15:30I mean, they lost their star running back.
15:32He went to Green Bay.
15:34They have Max Crosby.
15:36What else do they have?
15:37They're so overrated, it's not even funny.
15:39All we ever hear about is the Raiders, and they don't have a ton of talent.
15:43So, who the hell is he going to throw the ball to?
15:45Himself?
15:46I'm not blaming him for anything.
15:48They have an average offense and an average team.
15:50So, Carver High, how stupid would they have to be, the Raiders, to deal Devontae Adams?
15:56Seriously.
15:57I mean, like, I saw this hypothetical trade, and I was like, you gotta be kidding me.
16:03I think that he's one of the guys that the media and other people immediately started
16:08to point at when Pierce did the guys-made-business-decisions thing after the game.
16:15They showed some shots of him just kind of looking on the bench, looking really out of
16:18it, not into the game.
16:21We've talked about this for months.
16:22Remember, there was like a two-month stretch where there was no doubt about it.
16:25He was going to the Jets to get hooked up with Rodgers again, his old buddy from Green
16:29Bay.
16:30Now, I saw this even before you sent it to me, and I thought it was good.
16:34Fields needs another target, right?
16:36I mean, he's got pickings already.
16:38Why not get Devontae Adams to Pittsburgh for a second and a fifth-round pick?
16:44Now, I think that it would take maybe a little bit more than that, maybe not, but they were
16:49willing to go after Iuke, right?
16:51I'm sure they'd be willing to go after Devontae Adams.
16:54I don't believe this deal for one minute, that they're doing that deal.
16:58I don't think they're that dumb, and I don't think Pittsburgh could pull that off for that
17:05price tag.
17:06I mean, honestly, how do you get Devontae Adams to Pittsburgh?
17:10That's like the Iuke deal.
17:13It was so bad.
17:14They talked about it for two months, and I don't believe for one minute that it was ever
17:17going to happen because he was using them as leverage to get his deal in San Francisco
17:23and stay with the Niners.
17:25We've been hearing about this guy Adams, that he's unhappy in Vegas, and I think it's mounting.
17:31I think it's getting worse because they don't matter.
17:35They're not winning.
17:36They're losing.
17:37Now the finger-pointing has started.
17:39Now the coach is getting mad at press conferences and snapping at reporters and everything else,
17:46and he's ready to give up on his quarterback after three weeks.
17:50I mean, I could see why he'd want to leave, but I don't think they're stupid.
17:55I mean, literally, he's their only option offensively.
17:58You give him the ball.
17:59I don't know why they don't throw the ball to him 20 times a game, same as the Giants
18:04do with neighbors.
18:05Throw him the ball.
18:06If that's your only star player, give him the rock.
18:09And they actually got, I think they have two guys now.
18:12I think that Bowers is also a guy.
18:14You could throw the ball to him every play.
18:17But for some reason, I watched a little bit of that game against Carolina on Sunday.
18:22For some reason, they weren't throwing to either of them.
18:24They weren't throwing to Adams or Bowers.
18:27You actually got kind of like a secondary choice now even after Adams.
18:32So you're right.
18:33You'd get as many targets as neighbors does with the Giants, but neither of them having
18:38big days.
18:39How does that make sense?
18:40It doesn't make any sense at all.
18:41How does that make sense that you don't throw to those two studs?
18:44I mean, Bowers is enormous.
18:46He's got great hands.
18:47He makes plays, and you don't give him the ball.
18:50You don't throw him the ball.
18:52And this guy Adams is so great, and he's over there doing Taco Bell commercials because
18:57he's not getting the rock.
18:58That's why he's not happy.
18:59Those are good commercials.
19:00Those are good commercials.
19:01The Raiders are home for Cleveland this week as the Browns, of course, are coming off that
19:06loss to the Giants.
19:07And this is also bad news for the Browns, Scotty.
19:09Myles Garrett, now he got an MRI, came back clean.
19:12Remember last week I told you he said both of his feet were bothering him before that
19:17Giant game.
19:18Now allegedly that pain has spread to his lower legs.
19:22Like that doesn't sound very promising at all for Myles Garrett.
19:27They are one and a half point road favorites in Vegas on Sunday.
19:33And they're not winning either.
19:3737 and a half's the total.
19:39So bizarre.
19:40The Browns have looked so bad so far this year, and yet here they go.
19:45They're road favorites in Vegas on Sunday.
19:47How?
19:48Like, last year they were good.
19:50They were winning every week.
19:51They had a great defense.
19:53Great defensive coordinator.
19:55Garrett's a badass.
19:56Now he's banged up, and they're not winning, and I don't know why they're favored.
20:01I guess because the Raiders stink so bad.
20:03But if this guy's injured, it's only going to get worse for them.
20:06They need him on the field playing football because if he's not playing, they're not winning.
20:10It's that simple.
20:11He's the key to their defense.
20:13He really is the key to their defense.
20:15That's for sure.
20:16All right.
20:17We're going to come back, and then I'll play Iberflus when we come back.
20:20We always like having a laugh with the Bears head coach, Matt Iberflus.
20:24And then I've got a lot more injury news for you.
20:26I got suspension news.
20:27You know, they gave that Derwin James a game, and I had forgotten about that play.
20:31You were obviously at the game with Derwin James where he got ... He's wondering why
20:36they do that.
20:37You can't keep smashing people in the head, and now they're just going to make the penalties
20:41more and more for this guy.
20:43I mean, honestly, what are you doing, bro?
20:45And it costs your team.
20:47They can't afford to lose him.
20:49He's a great player, but he's lost his mind.
20:52I think he deserved what he got, to be honest with you.
20:56So not a good start through three weeks, but don't worry, Scotty.
20:59I mean, Matt Iberflus, he's built up tons of credit with the Chicago Faithful, with
21:04all the work he's done over the years.
21:06Everybody just don't worry about it.
21:08It's going to be okay.
21:09Yeah.
21:10I would say this, that, Mark.
21:11I would say that.
21:12Look, you know, this is our third game, and there was some positivity to take out of this,
21:17you know?
21:18And we're encouraged.
21:19We're encouraged in that locker room.
21:20We are encouraged.
21:21And we are ...
21:22There you are.
21:23We have our head moving forward, eyes moving forward, and we're going to get better this
21:26week.
21:27And to me, there is better production, you know, on the offensive side.
21:31You know, there is better production there in terms of who we've got the ball to.
21:35And the efficiency just needs to be better in certain areas, you know, on offense, on
21:39defense, and in kicking game.
21:40And it starts with the football.
21:42Really, this guy, honestly, I just don't think he's a good coach.
21:46You've said it before.
21:47They have, you know, I heard, oh, they wrap talent all around for Caleb Williams.
21:52They got all these players now that can make plays.
21:54Well, where are all those plays happening?
21:57You don't see them.
21:58They just don't matter, as usual.
22:00And at some point, they're going to get sick of Iberflues, and he's going to be out of
22:04there.
22:05He's got to turn it around, because I feel like he's on a hot seat already.
22:09They projected him coaching a year, Super Bowl, people were, you know, buying the Bears
22:14tickets and buying that hype, and Caleb Williams, and all this other stuff.
22:20Like we said earlier, Jaden Daniels is better.
22:23He's playing better, he is better, and he should have been maybe the number one.
22:28Remember, they said that Caleb Williams was, you know, like, just so amazing, you know,
22:35he's going to change the franchise.
22:37He's that generational player.
22:39He can't be stopped.
22:40He's automatic.
22:42And meanwhile, the other guy, Daniels, is the one that looks automatic, and he's exciting
22:47to watch play.
22:48I think Caleb Williams makes too many mistakes.
22:51I mean, left and right, every week, you can count on him to make mistakes, and that's
22:55why the Bears never win.
22:57Yeah, it's why the Bears never win, but they also never win because they're the Bears,
23:02and they just continuously are an awful franchise.
23:06They should have never brought this guy back to start this year.
23:09They were getting a clean slate.
23:12Number one overall pick, new quarterback, could have attached a coach.
23:15They should have been in the Harbaugh sweepstakes before he went to L.A.
23:18They should have did whatever they could to get somebody to stabilize that franchise.
23:23Instead, they have this joker, who should have been fired after last year.
23:28He's done a bad job since he's been there.
23:30And now they're going to have to start over again when they fire him after this year,
23:33when they go 6-11, or whatever it is, 5-12, whatever they're going to go this year with
23:38a rookie quarterback.
23:39You could put the pieces around him, Scotty, but as we've seen with too many of these guys,
23:44coaching matters.
23:45Philosophies matter.
23:47Systems matter.
23:49And they don't have one.
23:50They just don't.
23:51And, you know, that team, the team they're playing, the Rams, we saw what they did against
23:57the Niners.
23:58They can beat the Bears if they just play their game, and let's face facts, Stafford's
24:04better than Caleb Williams, you know, six ways till Sunday.
24:07I mean, he's automatically better from the jump, when the game starts.
24:11I like the Rams over the Bears.
24:12I mean, I guess they got the game at Soldier Field, so they got something going for them.
24:18But I don't really like the Bears at all.
24:21Bears are two-and-a-half-point favorites here on a Tuesday.
24:24Bears are favored by two-and-a-half.
24:26How is that possible?
24:27With a 40-and-a-half total.
24:29Like you said, I guess because the game's there, and yes, the Rams are beat up.
24:33But you saw last week the difference in these two teams.
24:37The Rams are beat up.
24:38They got nobody there.
24:40But what do they have?
24:41They have a great coach and a great quarterback who can take guys off the street and keep
24:48them competitive and keep them in the game and sometimes even win them.
24:52I would take that coach and quarterback any day of the week over the one that they're
24:55going to play this week.
24:56I'm with you.
24:57It's Rams.
24:58They were winning without their star receivers.
25:01They didn't have anything going.
25:03They had all, you know, patchwork, backups, no names, and they got it done against the Niners.
25:10Now, I know they had a lot of injuries, but that really was incredible, that comeback,
25:14to do that with no names and not their star guys.
25:17You lose, you know, Kup and Pukashells and all the problems they had in their back end
25:23and up front in the trenches.
25:25To win that game was insane.
25:28They're flat out better than the Bears.
25:30Stranger things have happened, and the Bears could win the game.
25:33I don't see it, though.
25:34I think Stafford will give them problems.
25:38More news for you here for Baltimore now.
25:40Free agent pass rusher Yannick Ngakwe returns to Baltimore.
25:43I feel like that guy's been everywhere the last three years, but this is his second tour
25:49in Baltimore with the Ravens as they need some pass rush help.
25:52Harbaugh yesterday also acknowledged that Justin Tucker's been struggling so far.
25:56It feels like he's the only kicker in the NFL structure.
25:59What happened to this league, Scotty?
26:01It used to be Tucker was the only guy that could make long kicks, and now everyone makes
26:07long kicks except Tucker.
26:09I don't know what happened.
26:10I don't know.
26:11It's a bizarro...
26:12I didn't notice that he was having problems.
26:14I didn't notice that he had lost it suddenly and was struggling.
26:18I don't like the Ravens, so I don't sit around watching them and, you know, getting invested
26:24in Tucker's leg.
26:25I always thought he was awesome.
26:27And so what?
26:28I mean, every year he's starting to struggle.
26:30It is what it is.
26:31I mean, sometimes kickers hit a wall or get the yips or whatever it is, and they start
26:37missing and that's that.
26:38So you've seen it before.
26:40You'll see it again.
26:41Guys miss kicks, and he never did.
26:43And now all of a sudden he is struggling.
26:45That's crazy.
26:46Amazing.
26:47I did want to give you the numbers now that I have Ravens Sunday night against the Bills
26:51minus one and a half and 46 and a half.
26:54So a short number here with the Bills being three and 0 off of an impressive Monday night
26:58performance and the Ravens getting their first win of the season.
27:01Pretty big total, too.
27:02I'll tell you early in the week, I think it's a tough spot for the Bills to go in there
27:07on Sunday night.
27:08They've gotten three wins.
27:09They're riding pretty high.
27:10But Baltimore, very good team as well.
27:13Now, the Bills have played them well since Lamar's been there.
27:16But I lean to Baltimore, Scotty, in that game on Sunday night.
27:19Yeah, I feel like I said before that now that they've won, I think they're going to start
27:25playing better and rattling off wins.
27:28I think that Lamar, you know, found his groove.
27:31He started looking great, throwing it, running it, getting their offense going.
27:35They look fantastic for the most part against Dallas.
27:40You're up, you know, 28-6.
27:42They had it all going.
27:43So I think they're kind of turning the corner and I think they're going to be hard to beat
27:46in the Charmed City.
27:47But look, I'm not doubting this Bills team.
27:51They're really good.
27:52The way they spread it out and get everyone involved, they can win that game.
27:57They can win anywhere.
27:58They can win in the below.
27:59They can win on the road.
28:01I think you have to start looking at them, you know, potentially outright to win games
28:06like this.
28:07I don't think they have a fear in playing the Ravens.
28:10The Ravens have, frankly, looked good once.
28:13That's it.
28:14The Bills have looked good every single game and they've gotten better every single game.
28:18They just keep getting better.
28:19Their offense keeps getting in more of a groove.
28:23So I think they're going to give Baltimore problems.
28:26I think most people will probably bet the Ravens, but maybe the play is Buffalo.
28:31Let me give you a little injury roundup here to close out this segment.
28:37Chargers rookie offensive lineman Joe Ault, MCL sprain.
28:41So not good news for him, but not obviously long-term.
28:44Dolphins quarterback Skyler Thompson considered day-to-day with a chest injury.
28:48McDaniel did say today it's possible that Tyler Huntley would start Monday night against
28:52the Titans.
28:53I would like a piece of advice, Scotty, now here on Coast to Coast.
28:57I would get Tyler Huntley ready to start Monday night anyway, whether Skyler Thompson's hurt
29:01or not.
29:02I would get Huntley ready to start on Monday night because that dude stinks.
29:05So I would put Huntley in when the Titans come to town because Huntley could beat the
29:09Titans on Monday night.
29:10Huntley could win that game for them against Tennessee on Monday night.
29:14So I would go with him.
29:16So Mike should get himself in order.
29:17He could definitely win games.
29:19I think that guy's flat out one of the better backups.
29:23What he did in Baltimore and, you know, we've seen him play and he can play flat out.
29:29So and you watch this Skyler guy and he's awful.
29:33I don't care what anyone says and we've never seen Huntley play that badly.
29:37When he gets in, he, you know, he gives it everything and he goes for it and he's pretty
29:41decent.
