00:00Ahead of transfer windows, we always like to look at players, we discuss multiple times
00:08players who they might get in or positions they might improve on, but what about players
00:12who need to make sure they tie down new deals or have a big stance at the club before a
00:19window when future can certainly be uncertain. Who are Liverpool's biggest assets ahead
00:25of the transfer windows coming up and how important is it that they actually remain
00:30at the club?
00:31It's a funny one when you say assets because obviously the ones you look at are Mo Salah
00:35and Bertie Van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold, all three are out of contract ahead of January
00:41so I don't think Liverpool's entertaining any bids for any of them to be honest in the
00:46middle of the window, especially how this season's going, but in terms of a mark of
00:52value it's not actually significant, hopefully them deals get sorted out. There's not any
01:01players you'd be worried Liverpool would lose really, I mean obviously Luis Diaz has attracted
01:08interest in the past from Barcelona and you're probably looking at players like Isilc maybe,
01:16not that I don't think Liverpool would want to sell anyone anyway, but when you're talking
01:20about assets, him and the likes of Alexis Macalus who's having a really good season,
01:24Ibrahima Kanate, but if you look at January maybe, is there anyone going to leave? I can't
01:33see many leaving to be quite frank. Maybe if a big coming forward, Taro Endo, if Liverpool
01:40went and got another midfielder in, we'll deal with that and think we can earn a little
01:45bit of money back here on Endo, he hasn't played a lot under Arne Slott, and if Liverpool
01:50got another number six in, would he be surplus to requirements or do they keep him around
01:55for an extra body and someone who can help see out games? With Alisson Becker coming
02:02back to fitness, would Liverpool have a decision to make on Kevin Callagher if a decent offer
02:07came in? You know Callagher's been outstanding during his time in the team, bar the mistake
02:14at Newcastle, all goalkeepers make a mistake, but he'll have a year and a half left on his
02:19deal with Liverpool if the right big came in. Do we sell him or do they have that risk
02:24that Alisson, who's had two fairly serious injuries for goalkeepers now, in the past
02:32year, would Liverpool look at that and think, no we can't risk it because what if Alisson
02:36gets injured again, Mahmoud Ashfili is not coming in until the summer and Vytautaslav
02:41Jaros wouldn't have the experience to be a goalkeeper in a Premier League title push,
02:48so there might be some decisions to make, but I can't really see too many players, if
02:54any, leaving in January.
