00:00Looking at Liverpool's squad, obviously we mentioned it is quite short of numbers,
00:08there's not an amazing amount of depth, but there are some exciting youngsters in terms
00:13of the future who could maybe make a step into that Arnie Schlott's starting side
00:18or even the first-team squad, who are youngsters at the club to look out for in the future,
00:24whether it's 2025 or even further along the line, that fans can get really excited
00:30for, whether it's signings or academy prospects, we've obviously seen the likes of Trent
00:37and Curtis Jones make fantastic impacts at the club.
00:39Yeah, I mean, you're looking at a couple else on loan now, and Ben Dukes absolutely
00:44thriving at Middlesbrough, he's been highly rated since he came in from Celtic a couple
00:50of years ago. He came in as an under-18 player and when he was 16 he was making his debut
00:55for the first team, he was playing in the Premier League that season as well. He needs
01:00to go out on loan and it looks like it's really working wonders for him. Regular for Scotland
01:07now, gave Gav Dahl all sorts of problems in the last international break, so he's warm
01:12and Lewis Kumas is doing fairly well out at Stoke City in the Championship, but in terms
01:19of the players that are at Liverpool, Trey Ione, who signed from Leicester last summer,
01:25really exciting prospects, has a really good pre-season, and Liverpool in the summer, they
01:31went out and bought Real Angemoa, or they brought him in from Chelsea, a compensation
01:37package that'll have to be agreed between the two sides, and Chelsea, by all accounts,
01:42were furious that Liverpool had poached one of their real top prospects to come in. He's
01:53just back to his best levels. Angemoa, he played for the under-21s age 15, he trained with the
02:00first team and you're seeing him train with the first team now on a semi-frequent basis.
02:08That shows how highly he clearly is rated by Arne Slott and his coaching staff, but
02:15also you've got to temper that and think let's not hype him up too much because anything can
02:19happen. In terms of other youngsters, you're looking at Amara Nallo, who came in 2023 from
02:25West Ham as well, and Jadon Danvers. Maybe people have forgotten a little bit about him. He's had
02:32a really good season last season, was prolific for the youth team, came in for his debut in the
02:39Carabao Cup final, of course, and then scores a brace off the bench in the FA Cup against South
02:45Hampton. There's always plenty of prospects coming through. A couple more I'm sure I haven't
02:50mentioned. Steffen Berset at Joules at Salzburg. There's plenty to be excited about in terms of
02:56players coming through.
