While there is speculation about potential moves, such as interest in Bayern Munich’s Joshua Kimmich as a possible replacement for Trent Alexander-Arnold, whose contract is set to expire in the summer, no major signings have been confirmed. The club appears to be maintaining a cautious approach, possibly reserving significant investments for the summer window.

00:00Liverpool and the January window, a lot of rumours coming in and out of a lot of the
00:08top sides. In terms of Liverpool, just theoretically speaking, maybe not fully based on rumours,
00:14if you were in charge or if the fans maybe had a say on it, just one player to buy, one
00:18player to sell for the January window and obviously it's not been a massive window
00:24last season and a couple of seasons ago it was quite big for teams in the top flight.
00:29I think if you're looking at it, there's still that fascination with Martin Supermendy that
00:34Liverpool fans have. It's not going to go away really, given that Liverpool pursued
00:39him in the summer and they didn't get it over the line. They went all out to get him and
00:45it would have been interesting to see how he slotted into that number six position.
00:50I think Liverpool are a little bit short in there still. They've got Gbitaro Endo backing
00:57up Ryan Gravenberch, but he's not the same type of player. Ryan Gravenberch, is he going
01:03to tire in the second half of the season? He's played a lot of football, does Liverpool
01:07have enough depth in there? So either him or maybe a left-back like Milo Kerkes at Bournemouth
01:15has been one that has been touted as a potential signing in the future. One to sell, if you're
01:22looking at the squads at the minute, I think Davo Nunes has been underperformed still.
01:29He hasn't got quite going yet, has he? He's been at the club for two and a half seasons.
01:38If your joint record signing should be your out-and-out goalscorer, your regular starter,
01:45there's an argument to say at the minute he's fifth choice in the forwards' pecking order.
01:51Third choice when it comes to playing as a central striker behind Luis Diaz, who's been
01:55converted into a central striker for a lot of games this season, and Diogo Jota, who's
02:00not long back from injury. The question is, is it ever going to work out for Davo Nunes
02:06at Liverpool? He came on against Man United, won the really good run that forced a yellow
02:11card from De Ligt, and then goes and gets himself booked as well after that. He's ended
02:17up now serving a one-match ban for accruing five yellow cards. To Liverpool now, cut the
02:25losses is what I think some fans will be looking at. So either Heyman, if an offer came in
02:31for Trent Alexander-Arnold that was quite lucrative, Liverpool might have to sit down
02:37and look at that. Some fans look after the Man United's results. I think it will be a
02:44little bit flippant to say, but should they take it? Should they take the offer? I don't
02:53know. I personally think he should stay to the end of the season regardless of what happens,
02:57because he has had a good season.
