(Adnkronos) - “L’educazione finanziaria e assicurativa è un mezzo efficace per la promozione del benessere della persona e l’equità sociale. Per la donna, in particolare, l’educazione finanziaria rappresenta uno strumento di emancipazione e di tutela: la gestione attiva e consapevole del denaro può aiutare le donne ad allontanarsi da situazioni di dipendenza e dalla cosiddetta violenza economica”. È quanto dichiarato da Marina Montepilli, HR Director di Alleanza Assicurazioni, a margine del settimo appuntamento del “Tour dell’Educazione finanziaria” in programma a Bari.

00:08I remember that in Italy, only 50% of women are employed.

00:26The role of financial education is fundamental
00:30for the autonomy of choice, for women's empowerment,
00:35and also to protect cases of economic violence,
00:39which I remember to be 34% of cases of violence declared to women.
00:46We have a program, which is Women Who Speak to Women About Money,
00:51which aims to promote financial language to women
00:58and to reach a female target.
01:01In fact, 80% of participants in our events are women.
01:06In addition, we have a collaboration with the Libellula Foundation,
01:11which is a women's protection association for victims of violence,
01:17and we contribute to their training courses
01:20with literacy courses promoted by our financial promoters.
