00:00here in the southeast. Right now you don't really have too many problems
00:03hanging on to some moisture, maybe a straight shower. But for the most part,
00:08a lot of us dodging that action here throughout the rest of our Tuesday and
00:12really most of Wednesday to have the clouds. You'll see this surge, though,
00:16coming out of the south dew points going to be rising. That's going to
00:20feel that threat of severe weather when we have those dew points rising, that
00:24humidity, that moisture increasing into the atmosphere. And we also have energy
00:28shifting out of the West and even from the north. We're gonna start to see
00:31some of those storms bubble up and pop off here as we head into early Thursday.
00:36So while Wednesday is looking okay, Thursday morning, if you're traveling,
00:40you could run into some tough storms, and some of these storms could produce
00:44some heavy rain causing problems there along the roadways, especially along the
00:48spine of the Appalachians. Areas that are already still recovering and were
00:53hit hard just about a month or so ago and still going to see some heavier
00:57rain even for the holiday. It does clear out, though, rather quickly. This
01:01is already Thursday night into early Friday. Ah, lot of that action sitting
01:05offshore. But before we get there, this is going to be the zone that we're
01:08monitoring for a few tough storms. Jackson, New Orleans, Montgomery,
01:13Atlanta, Gus. So we're covering a large piece of real estate here, even down
01:17through the panhandle, flooding downpours. We're not going to rule out
01:20even if you isolated tornadoes and, of course, those winds gusting between 55
01:24to 65 MPH. Not going to rule out some gusty winds at times, at least with
01:30your actual local storm. Max is high, a 75 MPH Turkey Day forecast, though
01:35Tampa, Orlando, Florida is the place to be here for Thanksgiving. Beautiful
01:40weather on the way upper seventies, low eighties rain, though, in Nashville in
01:44Raleigh is actually going to be a little chilly there in Music City. So
01:47heads up. You may want to add an extra layer on for Thanksgiving. Similar
01:51story there in Charlotte. When it comes to the rain, even the storms in
01:56Atlanta and New Orleans, though Miami, this keeps I keep saying this. Miami is
02:01the place I want to be for Thanksgiving, Jeff and enjoy it because this cold
02:06blast of air is gonna be reaching the southeast as well, and you'll start to
02:11see those temperatures dropped by Friday. Atlanta, you're down to the
02:14fifties.
