Through key parts of the Southeast, including Atlanta, severe thunderstorms are likely to disrupt Thanksgiving travel plans this Wednesday.

00:01where we're going to have some
00:03of those rough and tough storms.
00:04But watch that green just fill in

00:08we're going to be tracking some
00:10intense weather here as we head
00:11into Wednesday even into Thursday.
00:13Still going to be a little wet here
00:15across parts of the southeast Wednesday.
00:17Here comes that rain,
00:18but watch out is mild here out
00:20of head of it, right?
00:22We're going to see that energy
00:23increase here as we head into Monday,
00:26Tuesday.
00:26This is the low level jet.
00:28These are winds just a few feet up
00:30about 5000 feet up into the air.
00:32This is going to be Wednesday evening
00:34where we have this surge coming
00:36in along this boundary and we're
00:38going to start to see some of
00:39those storms pop up and potentially
00:41turn a little feisty as well.
00:43Now Wednesday night into Thursday
00:45anywhere from Jackson, Atlanta,
00:46Augusta, even down through the panhandle,
00:48Tallahassee that I-10 corridor.
00:49We could see some flooding downpour,
00:51some gusty winds were not going to
00:53rule out even a few isolated tornadoes.
00:55We have to watch out as far as
00:57weather is concerned,
00:58so we have to watch out,
01:00especially there along the coast.
01:01That also goes for areas like New Orleans.
01:03Your accurate local storm X as
01:05high as 75 mph as for Turkey Day.

01:09Nashville Raleigh highs going to be
01:11running below the historical average
01:12in Nashville but not so much there.
01:15In Raleigh 65 here on tap warm in
01:17Orlando 8079 there in Tampa storms
01:19on tap for the ATL 62 Miami will be
01:22dry but will have the sours similar
01:24to Raleigh and then the storm will
01:26be dry similar to Raleigh.
