Days of storms are soaking parts of the Southeast, hitting Florida especially hard.

00:00Some thunderstorms are moving west, lots of lighting. It overwhelms the view and again still raining in downtown Tampa
00:06But the yellows have given way to green here at least for that spot on the map there
00:10And we're dealing with a little bit of a decrease in the rainfall intensity
00:15So Tampa Bay itself and the northwest side of that area approaching Clearwater gully washer get ready for it there in Clearwater
00:22You are up next year with this heavy rain coming in from east to west heading farther north
00:27We have some downpours around parts of the nature coast. These are a little bit less eventful here
00:31Some of these areas are beginning to see an increase in your SOP choppy and south at a caribou showers rolling in
00:37Hollywood Beach is an interesting shot there with the thunderstorms that have been impacting that area and as a quick look at the reports
00:43Earlier, we had a funnel cloud over Flagler Beach at 415
00:47That was a report and three hours earlier than that
00:50There was a five minute long funnel cloud seen in Brevard County not too far to the west of downtown
00:56Cocoa a little west of Cocoa Beach
00:58So overall we have had some disruptive weather final stop in our southeastern radar tour takes us up into an area a little farther north
01:05Into Alabama where there's not a whole lot going on clouds, but pleasant weather for the Carolinas
01:10You can see the satellite loop showing some of those clouds kind of spilling across
01:13The southern part of the mountains into the small town of Harley, North Carolina as we saw from that, North Carolina DOT cam
01:19But overall area of low pressure offshore another one near the Texas coast
01:24These are going to be kind of following one after the other drifting through North Florida, South
01:29Georgia and moving out to sea the whole time there the we the waves are going to be agitated a little bit breezy out there
01:36Agitated waves rough surf will lead to rip current dangers and you can see these little wind pixels
01:41Indicating some of the trouble near one of these disturbances offshore again
01:44Another one's going to follow look at the rain exiting, Texas, but increasing in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia
01:50Widespread rain is going to be increasing in these areas Wednesday the axis of heaviest rain is mainly, Arkansas, East, Texas, Louisiana
01:58It moves east then into Thursday kind of flattens out. We're having a hard time finding much widespread rain north of I-20
02:05It's going to be mainly south of I-20 for the worst of it Friday more of the same
02:09South of I-20 and into the weekend Friday and Saturday
02:13High school football look out
02:14We've got some thunderstorm concerns rain into North Florida, South Georgia, South Alabama and into Saturday with some college football as well
02:21One of the games so we played in Tuscaloosa, South Florida at Alabama
02:25And it's going to be a tall order there for South Florida, and the weather's going to cooperate this far north
