00:00And Bree, as we look to the west, widespread rain and mountain snow still continue with this event.
00:05Yeah, we're tracking here some heavy rain still on our side of the country and some snow.
00:10It's really been the story here over the past few days and if I'm being honest with myself and you
00:16know you've been on the ground here, it's really been the story of the past few weeks. Of course,
00:20the start of the rainy season but this storm packing a little bit more of a punch here.
00:24As we head into Friday night, we're still talking about some of those same impacts.
00:28Flash flooding. We've had those warnings go out in and around the Bay Area. So please,
00:33if you do encounter any flooding, timing not so great. Maybe you're heading home a little early.
00:38Maybe you're heading out for lunch. This was a nasty situation to be in and it's not the only
00:42area that did see some damage done from these storms. High winds also wreaking havoc, breaking
00:49trees down in Sonoma County, California. This was just taken yesterday. We'll also be tracking some
00:56of that heavy snow. Still cranking out. We're expecting that snow across the northern Sierra.
01:02Look at this. Soda Springs already looking like a winter wonderland. Looking to add on a little bit
01:08more. Though it's kind of like a fire hose right now. Right across central north central California
01:13from the Bay all the way up through Tahoe. This stripe, the Sacramento Valley, the northern
01:18part here. We're seeing some of that steadier rain and when you get these steady heavy showers,
01:24that's when flash flooding becomes a major issue. Unfortunately, we're still tracking some heavy
01:30rain over the next few hours and does start to break apart here overnight. But then watch that
01:34rain change over to snow here across the Sierra. You're moving in a little bit further east for
01:39the weekend across the northern Rockies up through Canada. We are anticipating accumulating snowfall
01:44there. Heads up by 15. Even parts of I-90 could see some trouble. Missoula, Helena, even down
01:50through northern Idaho where we could see some isolated areas reaching upwards to a foot of snow.
