00:19The new challenger faced by the FIDE Women's Master Rueli Canino

00:27before the end of the year due to her success in the 2024 FIDE World Chess Championship in Singapore in November.

00:36Canino's goal in the tournament was to raise her rating to 2,254

00:42to get closer to her long-awaited Women's International Master title.

00:47It should be noted that the 16-year-old chess prodigy came from Budapest, Hungary

00:53as a member of the Philippine Women's Team who was nominated in the category B of the 45th FIDE Chess Olympiad.

01:00Canino made a noise at the Chess Olympiad after defeating two Women Grandmasters.

01:07Despite this, the Far Eastern University Wood Pusher was still defeated.

01:12I know that I did my best and I know that's enough.

01:18But I know that I can do better.

01:23According to Canino, her dream is to also win the title as a Women Grandmaster

01:28and follow the footsteps of the first-ever Filipino WGM winner, Janelle May Freyna.

01:34Hopefully, two years from now, I will be able to achieve the WGM.

01:40I only need two norms to aim for the WIM title.

01:49I already reached 2-2 rating.

01:53I only need two norms to become a WIM.

01:59I know that it's really hard to become a WGM, so you need to train and discipline yourself.

02:08I need to improve myself.

02:12At the moment, Canino is busy with Lady Tamaraw's campaign in the UAAP Season 87.
