00:00I turned on 9-5-7 game this morning, and I'm hearing from people who are saying that they're
00:07not really convinced on the 49ers being all that much of a threat this year.

00:26I was like, okay, I'm open to hearing this.
00:29Tell me why the 49ers are potentially not good or not a contender.
00:35And invariably, this is the line that comes up, and this is the one I would love to explore

00:43Because we hear it in every sport, every year, quote, they haven't beaten anybody.

02:20are a team that is not a hosting team because you didn't beat the teams you should have,

02:27And if you go up and you look at the Niners remainder of their schedule, and I just did
02:31the math mark on the teams that they have beaten, there are combined 17 and 31.
02:37The Jets, the Patriots, the Seahawks, the Cowboys and the Bucs, 17 and 31.
02:42That's not good.
02:43You lost to the Vikings, winning record.
02:45You lost to the Rams, not a winning record, but I mean, that's a game you should have
02:50won.
02:51You lost to the Cardinals, winning record.
02:53You lost to the Chiefs, undefeated.
02:55So you've played of your four losses, three are winning teams.
03:00And the other one is a game that you shouldn't have lost.
03:03And so I look at the rest of the schedule, Seahawks, not a winning record.
03:06Packers, Bills, yes, Bears, not currently.
03:10And I think that they're heading in the wrong direction.
03:12And then, you know, Dolphins are a team that maybe can recover, but you know, right now
03:18they're three and six and they have, I don't know if they'll have a winning record then

03:22So banged up, nothing going for them really on defense for the most part.
03:26And then the Lions and the Cardinals again.
03:27So if you look at the remainder of the schedule, you've got a legitimate four games against

03:32So all of this, like, oh, you haven't played anybody.
03:36I don't think it applies to the NFL because every NFL team, every NFL game is a one-off
03:41and you can face a good team or a bad team.
