00:00Hello there, good morning on this Thursday morning which for most is cloudy, rather chilly,
00:06a touch of frost but damp towards the west where we're seeing some higher temperatures
00:11breezy across the far north of Scotland. Stepping out though, you may find some sunshine but
00:15also you may run into one or two fog patches. Low cloud continues across Northern Ireland
00:20and thicker cloud across much of central and southern parts of England and Wales where
00:24there continues to be a little bit of patchy rain and drizzle across the south coast. Now
00:29through the day not a lot of movement with our weather, certainly the far west and north-west
00:34of Scotland will remain under those cloudy skies, a low cloud at that with some patchy
00:39rain and drizzle. Any patchy rain and dampness towards the south will tend to fizzle out
00:44and we'll see broken cloud across some parts of England, even east Wales, eastern parts
00:49of Scotland also you could see some brighter moments. Further west that cloud continues
00:54to be stubborn and again it will be damp in places but temperatures generally around
00:59average for this time of year if not slightly above 12-13 degrees Celsius. Now through this
01:06evening and overnight it remains rather damp across this western side with low cloud, rain
01:12and drizzle. That's sinking down also towards northern England and the far north of Wales.
01:17Across southern areas clearer skies will allow for frost in rural spots and again one or
01:22two fog patches. However through Friday this cold front here will bring stronger winds
01:27and outbreaks of rain. The rain could turn heavy for a time into the afternoon across
01:31the far north-west of Scotland. Elsewhere a lot of cloud but again brighter breaks towards
01:36the south with some sunshine. Hanging on to dry weather until much later in the south
01:40on Saturday as this cold front sinks southwards. Notice the air turns colder from the north,
01:45we'll see strong winds across the far north and north-east of Scotland and into Saturday
01:50yes some showers will slowly filter in. Towards the south that's where the cloud is and also
01:55some outbreaks of mostly light rain. On Sunday that colder air slowly migrates southwards.
02:01These showers in the north could turn wintry even with some snow across Scotland. Further
02:06south yes a lot of cloud, some outbreaks of rain. Wherever you are take care, have a lovely
02:10day this Thursday and I'll see you again soon.
