00:00Filipinos are now more prepared for calamity than they were last year
00:06based on the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative nationwide survey.
00:11The survey showed that 42% of Filipinos were prepared for calamity in the last 7 years.
00:18The survey was conducted in February and March this year
00:22where more than 4,600 Filipinos were asked
00:27if their families are prepared for calamity in the Cordillera Administrative Region,
00:32Central Visayas, and Western Visayas.
00:36The level of preparedness of Filipinos for calamity in Davao Region,
00:41Negros Island, and Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao is low.
00:46Metro Manila ranks 11th in disaster preparedness
00:51or lower than the national average of 19.2.
