00:28The Department of Social Welfare and Development, or DSWD, is now preparing 1.3 million family food bags
00:36in areas that may be affected by the Marseille earthquake.

00:57Each family food bag contains 6 kilos of rice, 10 cans of goods, 3-in-1 coffee, and choco-malt drink.
01:07The DSWD has confirmed that their stockpile is sufficient if needed in other areas.
01:12The Department of National Defense, or DND, has ordered local government units
01:17to carry out forced evacuations in areas where rescuers find it difficult to reach.
01:22According to Defense Secretary Gilberto Teodoro Jr.,
01:24it is important to move quickly to ensure the safety of the public, especially in remote areas.
01:30He is optimistic that the LGU will have a centralized point where relief goods can be brought.
01:38The Defense Department is optimistic that there will be a proper system in evacuation centers.

01:49The Armed Forces of the Philippines, or AFP, is also preparing assets for their emergency response to the earthquake.

02:08The Philippine National Police, or PNP, is also coordinating with the LGUs that may be affected by the earthquake.

02:18President Ferdinand R. Marquez Jr. has ordered the Department of Science and Technology
02:24to improve their warning system to give a timely warning.
02:30The government's priority is to strengthen disaster risk reduction and response efforts
