00:27This is the weather this afternoon, October 21, 2024.
00:32The Christine typhoon passed by again
00:35870 kilometers east of eastern Visayas earlier this morning.
00:40It has maximum sustained winds of 55 kilometers per hour near the center
00:45and a gust of wind reaching 70 kilometers per hour.
00:49The typhoon is moving west-south-westward at a speed of 30 kilometers per hour.
00:53At the moment, we have a high tropical cyclone wind signal in Catanduanes,
00:59Basbate, including Tikau Island, Burias Island, Camarines Sur,
01:04Alvay, Sorsogon, Camarines Norte, and the eastern portion of Quezon.
01:10Now also in Eastern Samar, Northern Samar,
01:14Samar, Leyte, Biliran, and Southern Leyte,
01:18Tinagat Island, Surigao del Norte,
01:21including Surigao Bocas Grande Group.
01:24We were advised to be careful of strong rains,
01:29flooding, and landslides.
01:32As of now, we have not received any warning.
01:35Here in Anihan, we are in the transition period,
01:39so we have not yet experienced the effects of the typhoon.
01:43We are hoping that as of now,
01:46we will not be able to forecast if we will have a tropical cyclone by next week.
