00:00Hi, good evening everyone. The easiest speech of the night. I know it's late there in Buries and Evans and I know from experience that many of you would have been using the bar and downing the wine by now, so this is a very easy thing for me.
00:13I just want to say how humbled I am to receive this award. It was completely unexpected and certainly very much appreciated.
00:21I thought the West Suffolk business community had forgotten about me by now, but I'm very humbled by the fact that you haven't.
00:28I'd like to thank those who nominated me and indeed voted for me this evening.
00:33The Bury Free Press area, the West Suffolk business community area, is full of such talented businesses and it's been a pleasure to have my career in such an environment which is brilliantly supported by the local council and the work that James Tolbert and Julie Baird are doing there.
00:51The Bury Free Press, Jonathan Tooson and the legendary Barry Peters have done some fantastic work there supporting business.
01:00Nick Rumsey at JNIC seems to be building the complete infrastructure for the next decades of Suffolk business, so I'd like to thank Nick for his help at TREAT and wish JNIC all the best for the future.
01:14And not least our educational facilities where Nick Oss and Phil Stizzler are doing some tremendous work at the local college, the West Suffolk College.
01:23But this is an incredible moment for me. I never expected anything like this to happen.
01:29I feel slightly too young, I have to say, to win a lifetime business award, but maybe there's still time yet to win another one. Who knows?
01:35Listen, that's it from me. Have a great night everybody. Best wishes to all my colleagues at TREAT. Enjoy yourselves and thanks a lot. I appreciate it. Thank you.
