00:00I'm joined by Aaron and Dan from the Gartec Group who have just won the West Suffolk Award

00:06for Innovation. Aaron, tell us how happy you are to have just stepped off the stage and

00:11picked up tonight's accolade.

00:12Yeah, it's an amazing feeling. The team, everyone that's attended here and everyone back at

00:17the office and across the country have done a very good job to earn this award and as

00:23a company we're continuing to grow and innovate and it's a great feeling.

00:28Fantastic. Dan, on your website it says 25 years of excellence in contamination control.

00:33For those, it's hugely well established, for those who perhaps haven't come across Gartec

00:37Group before, just tell us a little bit about the organisation.

00:40We're a company that specialise in controlled environments in cleanrooms. We do anything

00:45from modular cleanrooms to turnkey environments and modular cleanrooms in shipping containers.

00:52Our isopods are flat pack systems, they're brilliant and that's why we've won today.

00:57Our clean cubes are very innovative and we're proud to be part of it.

01:01Fantastic. Aaron, the award's obviously for innovation this evening. 25 years, as I say,

01:05is a long time in business. How do you continue to be innovative as you go forward?

01:11As a company, we've continued to adapt to changes. The clean cube model was brought

01:17about during COVID to deliver rapid solutions for companies that required controlled environments

01:25in a mobile sense as well, so that's just one of the many things that we've utilised

01:30and helped us develop the company.

01:34What we've made of tonight, Dan, obviously plenty of other businesses in the building

01:38as well. What's it like to share the room with other successful businesses tonight?

01:42It's brilliant, yeah. It's a good environment to be in. It's great to celebrate with every

01:46other company for all of the awards, not just this award, and it's good to share the moment.

01:52It's great to see the apprentices here as well. The apprentices have got one on our

01:56table tonight. He came runner-up, but he was well-deserved.

02:01You've got plenty of other team members here as well. How will you celebrate this tonight?

02:06I think we'll go and continue to celebrate with all the other nominees and winners and

02:12see where the evening takes us.
