00:08of the Year, Medium and Large. Tell us how happy you are to have picked up this award.
00:12Really pleased to have this award. It means so much to us and the whole business for the
00:17work we've done, all the employees, everybody. It's a fantastic accolade.
00:21Tell us about Lark Technology Group. What do you do?
00:24I started at Lark in 2000. Worked there for 25 years. Apprentice through to manager, through
00:35to a director under Sean's guidance.
00:37Sean, you're celebrating your 35th anniversary, I believe. Congratulations on that. What are
00:44your plans for further expansion of the business, obviously bearing in mind that currently you're
00:47so successful?
00:49For future plans, we look to do very much the same as we do at the moment. We employ
00:53many apprentices. We hope to get those all the way through the ranks to carry on the employment
00:59and to carry on as we go for the last 35 years.
01:02What are the key successes of the last year do you think that's led to tonight's award?
01:06For myself? I think probably just the whole staff, the teamwork. We work together very well
01:12and we're a united business.
01:15Tell us about the staff. I imagine there's a large team. How important are they to an
01:18award like this?
01:19So we invest a huge amount in apprentices and young people and that is the key to our
01:23success. Just young people investing in people and the continued growth of the business.
01:29Investment is a big step for any business to make. How much does an award like this
01:32pay testament to that effort?
01:34It's massive. It's a really, really great accolade, as Sean said, for Lark and for the
01:39future as well.
01:40Finally, how will you enjoy your evening tonight after picking this one up?
01:44Just a small whiskey, I think.
