00:09But the DSWD is ready before the flood comes in.

00:14The Office of Civil Defense also issued a red alert to respond immediately to our countrymen.

00:21This is the message of Nef Paciente.

00:25No one should be hungry.

00:27That is one of the directives of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. to the DSWD in the face of the flood.

00:34According to DSWD Secretary Rex Gatchalian,

00:37rescue operations are not the only part of the executive order.

00:42The President also assured that the flood victims will have enough to eat.

00:47You can expect that this will continue.

00:49That is the instruction of our beloved President,

00:52that no family or victim of this calamity will be hungry.

00:56That is why the DSWD also assured that the supply of aid in the face of the government's inaction

01:01due to the effect of the flood.

01:03In fact, before the flood came in,

01:05more than 170,000 family food packs or FFPs in Bicol were already pre-positioned.

01:11121,000 are still remaining.

01:13And they are not waiting for the supply to run out.

01:16That is why more than 100,000 FFPs are being pre-positioned in Bicol.

01:20Before we felt the effect of the Christine Flood,

01:24our national stockpile,

01:26these are the FFPs that are distributed to all our warehouses across the country,

01:32was less than 2 million pieces.

01:35This morning, I don't know if they can just flash the data,

01:39but we have 1,982,600 million FFPs.

01:45It was reduced from yesterday until now because we are already releasing them.

01:48So we're all ready.

01:50In fact, I talked to Mayor Legasion yesterday.

01:54The day before, I talked to Congressman Elrey Villafuerte.

01:57I also talked to our Acting Governor of Albay, Vice Governor Glenda.

02:01And our assurance to them,
