00:00All preparations are already in place to respond quickly to the needs and to ease the effects of the Christine earthquake and to avoid casualties.

00:10This is the national news of Clazel Pardilla.

00:15On Wednesday morning, it is expected that the Christine earthquake will hit the province of Isabela.

00:21Before that happens, the Department of the Interior and Local Government is already prepared in accordance with the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr.

00:30The local governments and other branches of the agency are already alerted.

00:35The evacuation centers and possible assistance are ready.

00:40All units have been mobilized. All local government units have been informed.

00:44No matter where it will pass, all local government units, all civil defense units have been alerted.

00:51I think we're prepared.

00:52Because of the Christine earthquake, the DILG recommended to the local governments to suspend all classes in Luzon from today until tomorrow, October 23.

01:06But the agency clarified that it still depends on the decision of the LGUs.

01:12The Christine earthquake was feared to affect the 30 million population.

01:1818,000 barangays are possible to sink in the flood and experience earthquake.

01:24The Executive Board of the Department of the Interior and Local Government assured that the safety of the residents of Undaz and the celebration of Christmas will be doubled by the DILG.

01:33The presence of the police in public and public places.

01:37We've instructed the PNP to double their presence, especially in the malls, in the public sector transportation, and in the LRT and MRT.
