00:14In evacuation centers in various barangays in the town of Magdiwang, Romblon,
00:19almost 299 residents are remaining as part of the preemptive evacuation of the local government in the typhoon Cristina.
00:28According to Roland Beharris Panyuga, Municipal Disaster Risk and National Management Officer of Magdiwang,
00:33the evacuees are residents in the coastal areas that may be affected by the storm surge because of the typhoon.
00:41They also evacuated the residents living near the beaches and rivers that are often flooded when the rain is heavy.
00:48Eight passengers and 19 crews of another passenger ship were also evacuated stranded in Ambolong Port in the mentioned town
00:59after canceling the trip of the sea vehicles.
01:03Almost 15 rolling cargoes of the ship's passengers were also stranded in the town.
01:11Because of the heavy rain and wind, dozens were swept away last night in the town.
01:18Since 7 p.m. last night, there has been no electricity on the island of Cebuyan until now.
01:24In the town of San Fernando, the water in the Cantingas River has also been flooded due to the rain in the area since yesterday morning.
01:33According to San Fernando MDRRMO, 16 families in the barangay Azagra were evacuated and brought to evacuation centers as a precaution against the typhoon.
01:45MDRRMOs in the town of Magdiwang and San Fernando are continuously monitoring the situation with government agencies, especially in disaster-prone areas.
01:56According to the San Fernando Public Information Office, they are ready to conduct evacuation and rescue operations and provide immediate assistance such as food, water and medical supplies for the affected residents.
